I will say that HD is wrong about how she treated her new husband (Gong Bu), but gets a few minutes to be upset.
He wasn’t exactly forthcoming early on in their relationship and she asked him to come clean before they got married. So this surprise is a huge one especially to an expectant mother and new wife returning from their honeymoon.

I hope when she calms down, thinks and listens this should be survivable (though it is conservative SK).

The little boys mother is a piece of work. On many issues!

GH & GB’s mother is over the top in dramatics. He is a doctor, while shocked and angry he should be able to deal with this.

One question regarding GB’s first marriage, I thought it ended because he cheated on his wife within the first month of that marriage.

Regarding the mother (GH’s), I have an issue with how adult children are treated in KDramas, but that’s for another time.

When my son was born, his mother’s current and maiden names were on the birth certificate as well as my name (as the father).
A woman can give birth and have a baby without the father being there or being know.🤨

As far as the last name, I don’t think you can make up any last name, if the father’s name is not given or unknown, I think the baby gets the same last name as the mother.
Without a paternal parent, but I’m not 100% on that point.🫣

When I was born, in the Stone Age, it was just the mother’s name, I believe.
That can vary by state in the United States. 🤔
(They’re United but not carbon copies.)

Yes in SK there are so many ways to screw up your kids life (sadly) without trying!
Having a single parent is one that never made sense at all, but it’s all about bloodlines. Growing up in the US is very different, there are still issues but not the same as in SK.
I discuss part of this with another MDLer, (is that what we’re called?) and a miscarriage maybe the only way for GH to avoid the many issues that an unwanted pregnancy with the wrong guy can lead to.
Obviously it’s not the embryo’s fault.
There probably won’t be any discussion of protection or responsibility.
Abortion is a more difficult topic than unplanned pregnancy on a Kdrama.
Will the ML want to be the father of his friend’s (2ML) baby?
So messy for a daily Kdrama.
I don’t think there is any character that is happy in that show… except the brothers new child. From his first marriage & a surprise 5 years later!

I’ve been thinking the resolution of the money, should be GJ’s company makes enough money to replace what was used / re-stolen by DR’s family. Then GJ’s will tell his mother he was looking for it but didn’t want to get her hopes up.

If he tells her DR’s family took it from the 2 guys who robbed her, with her personality - she wouldn’t easily forgive them!

Then she would never acquiesce that GJ can marry DR.

Then he will return the 10 million to her > By the end of the show.
MR’s mil (police chief) will close in to the apartment and there will be no money there because GJ would have it ready to be returned. Not in the Lee’s apartment!

Just my thoughts, so who knows?

I thought they were great together since episode 1.

I do feel that with DR being so attracted to GJ, as she said to the first designer, I don’t remember seeing any indication of that. She was mostly kind to him in the last 10 or more episodes.
But he had helped her get the job & gave her tips to help her be successful at work with the chairman.

Still her admission to the designer, to me felt very sudden.🫣
