i like the premise of the plot, but somehow ML and FL just does not have any chemistry imo, and the way they show…
Honestly, I think the complete opposite. I actually love their dynamic. The way he teases her is so cute, and in these last episodes you can totally see how much he smiles when he’s with her. He's down bad for her. I’m obsessed. And she’s literally such a sweetheart. Obviously everyone has their own opinions and that’s fine, but for me the way everything is developing just feels so real and refreshing.
The only people I see calling this drama bad are the ones comparing it to HP, and you're a clear example of that.…
I agree with you that there are better dramas out there, although personally I do hope for a second season because I really liked the dynamic of them being inexperienced. My issue is that I’ve seen thousands of people comparing it to HP when they’re totally different, and I thought you were one of them. I understand why you say the screen time wasn’t well balanced, but it’s also pretty clear from the beginning that the focus is mainly on Oh Yeong. I would have liked 16 episodes too, maybe we could have seen a bit more of that maturity phase.
As for the chemistry, now I understand what you meant. In my case, I did feel it was fine because the drama clearly wanted to focus on each character’s individual growth. For me, there were definitely memorable scenes between residents and patients, but I think that really depends on each person.
If there is a second season, I think it could actually give you more of what you were expecting, since they won’t be first-year residents anymore.
I replied to you specifically because I saw that in other comments you kept throwing hate at the drama, so I thought you were just one of those people who hate it just because it’s different from HP.

It doesn't matter when you watched HP. What you're doing is literally comparing two dramas that shouldn't be compared because they're completely different. We can’t even compare the friendships because in ResPlay we’re watching first-year residents who start out as total strangers and gradually grow closer as the year goes on. In ResPlay, we see how in each episode, every character learns something new. By the end of the drama, we can clearly see how much they've matured and how much better they handle situations compared to the beginning. And let’s not forget, they’ve only just finished their first year of residency. They still have a lot to learn.
Another overrated drama has ended. There's no need to go so far with these lousy reviews comparing this one to…
The only people I see calling this drama bad are the ones comparing it to HP, and you're a clear example of that. If you started watching this drama expecting something similar to HP, that’s on you. This drama is different in many ways because we’re following first-year residents who are inexperienced and learning from their mistakes every day. If you seriously couldn’t see the development that each character went through, then the problem isn’t with the drama, it’s with you.
1. I don't have the answer to this, but I haven't seen much news on their bad reaction to the couple, so I think…
Well, they're just two young people who aren't blood-related and happen to fall in love with each other, so that’s why it's not seen as bad or weird in the drama or by the most viewers either. But I get that it might feel different depending on your culture. If you don’t mind me asking, i'm really curious, what is it exactly that people in your culture see as wrong about these kinds of relationships? I’d love to understand it better.
Wait I'm confused I didn't understand that last scene with the nurse. Can you please explain
I think what the nurse did is just her little revange for everything Dr Pyo did to her, that's all. I don't think she's gonna be a bad person, she was just getting a little revenge.
