I have to be one of the people defending the series. Are there a lot of better bl series on the market? With better plot, chemistry between actors and bigger budget? Yes. But do some of these shows owe 2gether their right to shine? Also yes. I wouldn't watch it in 2026 but I had fun in 2020. Sometimes you have to think about the background before judging too harshly, ya know. It's like there had to be HIStory 1 and 2 so HIStory3: Trapped could have happen (I couldn't recommend it enough, especially if you want to see something about actual adults). And lots of boring Japanese bls as well.
They should have kissed though (but from what I know they kinda couldn't).
Let's appreciate the times we're living in right now with loots of shows to pick from ❤️

I get why people might be frustrated with the last episode, according to these comments at least, but it's just like any manhwa epilogue. A look into the already established couple and a few sweet snippets. I don't think that not letting them actually kiss was such a bad thing because also to me it was pretty obvious that the "are you that eager" teasing and staying "awake" in the bed wasn't as pure and naive as apparently poeple think. A kiss would be nice but its absence didn't ruin the show to me
At the beginning I was apprehensive because, well, another high school drama, and then SO frustrated with the bullying because it felt too real, I wished that the MC will finally punch the other in the face, and then kick him and kick him again. But I'm so glad I gave another episode a go because not only the story turned out to be very interesting but the acting and cinematography is top notch. Really, I feel like Korea is giving bl dramas more love these days - 30 minutes long episodes? And good pacing? Wow, who would've thought that more airtime helps the story to unravel naturally. And those guys are just so pretty, what the hell. It felt like a webtoon (positive).
Overall I really liked it! The actors were great, conversations felt genuine, camera work was good, and maybe the plot wasn't very complicated but I didn't mind. ALSO the main character and his bestie were adorable! Very believable that these two would be friends. Also, establishing at the very beginning that the MC is queer/it's not such a "crazy idea to be into guys" is always a giant plus in my books.
And yeah, the abstinence subject was very glossed over but taking into consideration this series has 8 episodes 15 mins each, I think it was done quite good while keeping it light. Who would have time to properly flesh out a serious alcoholism in a short upbeat series like this.
it's so sad how they butchered my boy (the webtoon) - please check out the actual comic if you haven't! the only good thing that came out of it is that I reread the series again
I'm so exicted because I just finished reading the webtoon! I really hope the episodes wil be longer. Oh man, this year is a good year for the webtoon adaptations <3
You're thinking about watching this? Do yourself a favor and read the original webcomic instead!! The story is a really nice slice of life with likeable characters (some of them are /completely/ different) and the main relationship develops naturally, what I cannot say about the drama...
I'm really dissappointed with the series, I dropped it in the middle of the third episode because I just couldn't watch it. It's sad that they changed so many things about the original story and all of them for worse, that way making it like any other boring BL drama, full of cheap unnecessary overused tropes. Thank god we have Semantic Error.

And for all the OPM fans... Very Genosai vibes, am I right??
But at least I found out about the manhwa through this drama so there's a plus I guess haha
