took a break from BL dramas a bit and now i’m back in action. I watched Memoir of Rati and it was honestly kind of mediocre so i’m slightly put off from watching this pair again. In my opinion Thee and Rati’s chemistry was kind of meh and i’ve attached the character’s chem to the actors faces so I need a little help to be convinced out of it. I watched the pilot back then and i remember being excited for it but it’s a little difficult now, after finding out now that it’s the same actors. i just need help resetting my perspective a little bc i do want to eventually give this show a go!!

I know this comment is quite passionately negative but obviously don’t let my opinion stop you trying the series out. Clearly, a lot of people DID enjoy it so you might too. I’ve often read bad reviews that put me off some series, but then enjoyed those exact series when I decided not to care and try them anyways. And as you can see, I’ve had the opposite happen too. Trust me when I say, you should almost never trust reviews because sometimes you can even get past bad production and bad acting, if there is something that makes it worth it. And you’ll only find that out by watching it because people do not know your preferences and so they do not write reviews based on them.

I just hope my little frustrated rant was relatable to someone, I know how relieving it can be to see someone share your frustration and opinion about a series. Feel free to have your own little angry rant in my replies. I think I’d enjoy that too.

I had high expectations… fair to say I was disappointed. I couldn’t get past episode 12 and I had to force myself until that point too. Main lead is annoying, Daon pissed me off, I liked Shinwoo so much so that I would have rather he ended up with one of the only other decent characters, Namgoong… Did I ship the two? No. But, damn, I’d rather him than Taekyung. How does this have the same rating as Semantic Error and one higher than The Eighth Sense?? I think most of us can agree those were enjoyable or AT LEAST bareable. Never fully trusted MDL ratings or really went by them, because… you know? Preferences exist. But I guess I have to to trust them even less.

the second episode is just as good as the last. it’s the kind of series where you really feel for the characters, you cry when they cry, you blush when they blush. it’s wholesome but can make you sad where it needs to. i didn’t become super excited for it until the official trailer came out but it’s really good at building up even the tiniest excitement. the episodes feel to short, that may mean it’s so good but also means i can’t wait for the next. frustrating but worth every second i am left waiting. i will be patient even though it’s hard ♥ ~ ☝︎(* ` ˘ ´* ☝︎)

i will literally rewatch this as it airs. each episode must have a minimum of 5M views, maybe then gmmtv will think it’s profitable enough and that there are enough gl fans that need to be satisfied.

but on a real note, i really hope the process of popularising gl is fast so we can have a lot more series coming out soon. i’m too impatient !!

i love series like this where an almost hour long episode feels so short. it makes me impatient, but the fact that i already want the next episode just means it was that good. i’m excited to see this progress and i hope all episodes continue like the first. ♥ ~ ☝︎(* ` ˘ ´* ☝︎)

after seeing him on other non-gmmtv projects i assumed so. but besides the military thing where it was (supposedly) said he would be back in november i hoped not. i hope he’s happy with his current work though and wish him all the best <33

i just rewatched together with me after a long time and i’m considering watching this for maxtul, but i’m absolutely terrified. will this ruin some of the characters for me, korn for example? is it worth the risk?

oh sorry if it sounded like i thought you disagreed. i was thinking the exact same. i understand the decision to keep gem4th, though i wish we lived in a world where GL didn’t need to have a “back up plan”. i’m so excited for 23.5, so hopefully the fans calm down so that it can air in peace.

i’ve seen those comments too. that’s is definitely a WAY huger issue, i just think that the fact that they are treating gem4th as a main couple also just shows that. some of these fans are too full of themselves, they use one part of the lgbtq+ for their own fantasies but disrespect the other side. it’s honestly disgusting, they should realise that 23.5 is still GL, so they should at the very least respect that if they are going to watch it for gem4th. they should give some support to milklove, even if just a little. giving it a chance is the very least they can do, not saying it’ll be bad because it’s GL

I AGREE. i love Gem4th, but people treat it like they are the MAIN couple and like the series is made especially for them. can’t some fans just understand that MilkLove and GL NEEDS the recognition more than BL right now. once GL finally gains the respect and gmmtv actually properly starts making GL series, watching a GL series for a BL side couple you really love wouldn’t be an issue. but people just want to ignore that this a *GL* series and not about Gem4th. I am watching this for MilkLove and because I am excited for GL series finally being made. Gem4th is are nice bonus, but nothing more. (and this is coming from a gem4th fan, if it wasn’t obvious)

i was about to say the sameee. i wasn’t that into them before, when i saw them in 2gether. but i decided to give this a go recently after dropping it twice a few years ago. somehow i enjoyed it even though, i admit, the quality is low overall, but the vibe of this series was so good. now i regret not having more interest in drakefrank when we still got to see them together :((
