I'm probably one of the few who is more than satisfied with how things turn out in the drama. I still find the main characters lovely and I especially appreciate yoo eun mi 's (Byul) performance, she is just too adorable.
at first I had no intention to watch that drama and then I've started it because of eunji. I'm really not disappointed and even though I'm not fan of trot songs, the ost is quite good and I really enjoy both eunji and Ji hyun woo's voices.
I'll be watching next week episode just for jin woo's body. got a glimpse in the preview but wasn't enough and I'm so disappointed in how things are going (did she really have to run away with han yeo reum? I find jang mi and ki tae so cute when they are together.)
I was laughting so hard the entire episode but at the same time I was feeling so bad for jang mi. the storyline of this drama is just ridiculous but still it's so hilarious.
Is it as good as the Taiwanese version, does it have it's own trade?
personnaly I prefer the Taiwanese version soo far. the Korean version is only starting to have a slightly different plot that the original version in this week episodes.
I've seen the taiwanese version and even though I'm so much into korean drama, this adaption is so disappointing. still I'll watch it till the end but just for choi jin hyuk.
I thought it will becoma awkward when they start datiing (especially because of the age difference) but actually they look reaaly cute together. now I'm wondering what will happen when she find out he is a teenager. And I just don't understand yoo jin woo character.
great article. this category of characters never miss to appear in korean drama so it's really a good idea to make an article on them. however youn do from heir is really missing in your list and in the evercaring bystander jun se from shining/brilliant inheritance deserve the 1st place according to me.
actually, in many korean dramas the man lead is youger than the girl (or should I say woman) lead character off screen. the two main dram that came to my mind are my name is kim sam soon and personal taste (once again lee min ho plays with an older actress).
I totally identify my self with the stages annd that keeps happening to me. it happened with my firt dram "coffe prince" and lately it was "iljimae". with that last one I'm still at the third stages... and actually I cannot go over my grief unless I found a new drama which bring me back to stage 1 and after reading your article, I'm afraid that "bridal mask" - which is on my plan-to-watch list - will be that drama.
I've read the manga years ago and now I'm watching both drama adaptation (the japanese and korean) at the same time. The general idea is really the same and most important parts from the drama are there. However I really can't see how they will adapt the manga to the american culture. I'm really curious to see that.
