Also, CDrama actresses, take lessons from KHY on how to act younger or cutesy... Most end up cringing the heck…
I do agree cdrama can be so cringey, especially the actresses playing cute. However, what's in the Cdrama world meaning the drama production, storyline, director, sponsorship, costume, actors, script etc are based on grade level. A, A+, S, S+ production where S+ is the top tier and A is budget. As well, there are web/short drama, online, tv satellite platform. The Chinese entertainment is very saturated and enormous. The cdramas that I used to watch a decade ago, I would now consider budget and cringey and unoriginal and predictable plot which I don't watch now.
There are still plenty of great actresses and dramas that aren't cringey. For one, my favourite is Go Ahead. The drama starts off in the 2000, then 2009 and 2019 (if I rmb correctly) and the actress plays a preteen and in her mid 20s. Her acting is natural and you wouldn't even notice she's actually 29yrs old irl playing a preteen. I never found her acting as cringey and she's always been praised for being one of the few that could play as a middle school/high school girl very naturally. Funny thing is that she plays the younger sibling among the two older brothers (consider them neighbouring oppas), but irl she's older than the actors (the actor that played the older "brother" is 9 years her junior). I like her and Hye Yoon bc both are natural and down to earth and aren't in to plastic surgery. Please don't generalize all cdrama as there's different tiers
During may 25/26 Chengdu Shu Brocade and Embroidery Museum collaborated with Seven’s official fan club to celebrate Seven’s Birthday. The museum provided hand made fans and photos. The museum also Collaborated with the drama’s production team by lending their Broidery machine during filming. https://www.instagram.com/p/C7avr7BNToP/?igsh=MWVwdGg4MnJhbnd0cw==
Sunjae is really selfless. He really sacrfised himself to save Sol during the cliff. His lips were purple, that meant he was losing blood for a while and he was holding on to the psycho murderer until cops arrived. It was only until he saw cops and knew Sol would be safe that he let go. My god, this is the best Kdrama 2024.
I wonder if FX ever got to visit his grandma in the end. It seems like it's been forever since he left the home town and went to the capital, but it's probably like 2 years at most. it pains me that their good byes will be the last they will see of each other. I really hope in the end of this drama (S3), he and waner are able to visit grandma.
I strongly suggest you watch s1 before s2 bc you won't appreciate or fully understand s2 as well as the characters and relationship dynamics. S2 begins in the timeline setting just months after S1 ended. Trust me, from a person that has watched hundreds if not thousands of cdramas, I skip or drop dramas like im a billionaire dropping change. There are very few cdrama that I can count on my fingers that I finished from start to finish. JOL1 was one of them, it was never a dull moment and I'm always on the edge of my seat. You won't be bored. I actually enjoy JOL1 more than JOL2. bc everything is a bomb droping .
Count yourself lucky that you haven't watched JOL1 so you can enjoy as a new viewer. I wish I can watch it everytime as the first time.
Feel like I have to announce that I’m behind in the airing schedule. It’s like commenting when you are behind…
No she hasn't. If she had the internet would've mentioned it already, nothing goes unnoticed by Cnetizens. I've seen glimese of her dramas and variety shows. She looks exactly the same, perhaps even more slimmer. Her features are all the same. It could also just be her hair style change and acting. Have you only watched her in JOL 1 and 2? If that's the case then it's normal to find her look a bit differently. It's 5 years buddy.
Who killed Fan xian mother?Even Director chen didn't know? 😪
How come on wb videos I keep seeing that it's the king that killed FX's mom and Fan Pingping know about this but he kept it a secret so that he can keep FX safe. there was that scene in ep 1 that he was ready to kill the King when he found out FX died. his wheel chair has some kind of contraption that can like shoot arrows or bullets (idk), and he was going to shoot it at the King.
That’s so sweet. A museum in China is celebrating 7 bdays and collaborating with shu brocade. Something about making silk and gifting it to x amount of participants. Not quite sure the details as it’s in Chinese.
