My opinion of today's 520 promo. It's really different, in that most dramas to promte will release a part of the drama scene or perhaps a bts. For xy they released an Music MV type of setting. This reminded me of SS' song mv where she dedictated the song to her mom. Her mv also had those feathers as background. The director or producer is really keeping this drama tight sealed, not a single grain of sand is beling seeped through the cracks. They would rather put effort to film this than to release a teaser of the actual drama. I applaud the dirctor or whoever is doing this for their efforts!

If you scrolled down you can see info of this drama. It was suppose to film early 2020 but covid happened so it stopped and then it was hard to schedule in the cast. Now both leads’ statuses are on another level, they will not be taking on any idol dramas. This script will either be discarded or maybe find some new people to film. However, the longer it waits the more outdated the plot is. It’s already been 5years.

Naaah, I won't take offence of your thoughts bc that's exactly my initial opinion. I was against ss taking this drama, but since she did I accepted the fact and will support. I'm sure the rape and mistreatment of women will be changed drastically bc audience will not accept this socially. If they kept the ml as is most actors won't accept the script so I don't think Liu would've accepted. The script writer is Tonghua so that should be another consolation.
The novel was written when the author was down in the dumps, and she started to integrate buddhism in her life. So the author uses fl as the epitome of basic buddhist belief, Fl's resilience to not harm others and to cherish life is prevalent from start to beginning, the Agsint the Current title if very fitting for fl's characer and personality. So I feel like the writer might emphasize on this. Either way, I likke both leads and the side characters aren't bad either. Let's just wait and see how it goes.
