Yea, i'm not sure if the new one is just rumours, since I haven't really follow bailu closely after.

I first noticed XK and bailu From the legends and I saw a lot of the BTS And the way the interacted was no regular close coworkers. She would Have her whole body lean on top of his back when he’s on his phone And among other things. I’m pretty sure they did it but broke up I mean everyone dates each other anyway it’s not a big deal and they were young

Interesting because CCTV don’t usually air fantasy or idol dramas

No it's not XK or about BCE, so you don't have to advertise about BCE. I just reread my comment and notice why there might've been a confusion since i meantioned "ml is a ceo as well" which may have others assume it's xk. I mean't another drama where the ml character is also portrayed as CEO. It's another drama airing right now called You are My Secret. I've only seen a couple clips on wb though. I might give it a try to see and give it a better judgement

I'm really looking forward to this drama next year. It'll definitely be a blockbuster with the cast and guest role, budget and director

I love their chemistry. I’ve never really got into xk chemistry with other actresses maybe with bailu but then they were actually dating back then. I’m looking forward to XY next year to see if Tsy and hmh has chemistry

I like the BTS of the shaving scene more. They looked so comfortable behind the scene where XK put his arms over her shoulders And she was talking to shave his legs

If this was done by any other actor and actress, I don’t think this drama would have been so popular or successful. I see there’s another drama that Ml is CEO as well (ml isn't XK), but I don’t think it’s doing as well

It's ok to have criticism regarding characters and plot, there is no such thing as a perfect character or story/drama. This drama was a success bc of the leads (tsy and xk), their acting and their onscreen chemistry that brought their characters to life. Many were more engrossed with their romance and character more so than the drama's plot. The director did very well with the romance part too. I think this drama started high and ended high. It's great that this drama is still being discussed so hotly here when it already finished airing. I really enjoyed the run, and I hope many others did as well.

I wouldn't say JX is a flawed character/person. What she lacked was experience and knowledge as a novel entrepreneur and CEO, while HT was raised and grew up in an environment to be a leader/CEO. The main story was of JX's growth of becoming a CEO, her overcoming hurddles and learning on the way and HT being her mentor. We can see her character growth from how she dressed from beginning to the end, the confidence of how she walked and interacted with business people showed her growth. HT's character was just too perfect that even if he had flaws it was overshadowed by the good. So, any normal person that's standing beside him will have his/her weakness or blemish be blow out of portion.

However, I really like HT's love and care for JX bc it wasn't just doting her like a regular bf. He took his time to mentor and teach her the ways of life and business (socially and psychologically), that allowed her to stand on her own ground if they every seperated or if he's not there to help her. He gave her resources, educated and guided her so that she can stand on the top of the mountain with him. She also didn't disappiont him, she's a smart girl and when there's opportunities she took the chance and made it great. They are both outstanding in their own way.

Did any of you heard the fan war (well it's really one side attacking seven) on wb. attacking Seven saying she has no education, when in fact she's a Beijing Film Academy Alumni, just like Chen Kun, YM, Zhao Wei, LYF, Huang Xiaoming etc. Antis will do at nothing to bring her down bc they are threatened by her results.

I don’t think everyone is like that and usually it’s the more spice of life tragic type of story that gets the award. If acting is good, then it should deserve to be mentioned not just the happy ones

I agreed they really cut it too fast from the kidnapping to the hospital scene. They did not even let JX cope with what happened in the novel she had to see a therapist

I would say end of Sept to Oct

How come no one talks about the kidnapping scene both actors did so well

On youku schedule it says to air in September, but I don’t know how true that is

I still takes about one to three months for a drama to air after the license

Oooh, ok. Just from the directors, author etc I didn't think it was S+, but good on them!
