Exactly!!! That's why yichen doesn't sit well with me. He's not being honest up front to jx and he's not communicating with her and just going with the flow even though he's like resenting what's happening. To me, he had red flags bc you don't support your girl in front of her and her friends and then talk shit about it behind her back about not having confidence in her and that it's a phase that will pass and when she fails he'll be there. like wtf is this.
I get that jx is standing him up or not giving him enough attention, or ditching him. She's wrong too, so that's why he needs to communicate and I'm sure she'll try to change. However, he kows this is the most difficult time in JX's life when begining a start up, so he should also just be understanding. I guess jx and yicheng just isn't a match in the end bc jx doesn't want to just have a 9-5 career and go home to take care of kids and wake up to redo it all over again until she's old.

Really? I actually don't like Yichen as much. He's a dr and just as busy, but when fl gets busy with her career, he's being a baby about it needing mommy's attention. He's two face and it's double standard. It's heavily implied in the novel that he and Zhengdi had a friends with benefit relationship and that he's been with other girls also.
