Yea, I definitely agree she seems really comfortable and natural with the intimacy compared to before. Our girl is finally letting it go. tbh, I still have doubts why she chose this drama. So I'm not really putting my eggs in this drama, instead I feel like Shu and XY will be a hit. Ofc I would love for this drama to do well and I'm sure it will!

Yea, I'm aware Kissing doesn't mean chemistry or that more kisses mean cheistry will be great. That was never my point. you miscomprehended....However, this doesn't mean I'm not excited or looking forward to it.

I'm on the same page or RTH where I felt no chemistry between the leads, even with their kissing.

I'm not saying the double isn't good. I'm glad this drama was a hit and this has helped her with her career, since she was in a slump after Yangxi Palace. So this is like her 2nd breakthough. I'm aware the drama is a dark horse, and results wouldn't have been this good without the ml tbh.

I just feel like they are releasing a lot like the shaving and her being harassed. Ik the shaving was in the trailer before but they extended it to show the kissing

i agree, I never mentioned that chemistry and vibe is solely dependent on the number of kisses. 7 is usually reserved and as her fans or passer bys that often watch her dramas, we are aware her drama usually have about 1-2 kisses max and it’s usually near the end of the drama. So, in comparison to that this one seems to have a lot more and I’m giddy for that. So please don’t rain on my parade.

Generally, Just bc two ppl kiss onscreen doesn’t mean they automatically look like they have chemistry. At least from the materials released I can see they seem natural and compatible. I have my fair share of dramas I dropped from 7.

As for The Double I’m aware it’s popular but I can’t get in to the actresses acting, the actor on the other hand I find it good.

I love and hate the promos. The drama is airing very soon. They really should stop releasing all these new videos because there’s literally nothing new or surprising to watch in the drama anymore. I have never seen a drama really so much material all at once.

Guys, iqiyi Thailand and Malaysia will be broadcasting ABAY also. That’s a lot of platform. Like how does that work bc if there’s so many platforms than views would be distributed to multiple platforms instead of being concentrated to one or two. Then viewership number would seem lower than it is??

I don’t want the age gap to be too close. HT was charismatic and masculine bc of his age with experience. I liked that he had an “uncle” vibe. Like a daddy. Even jx in the novel made fun of their age gap

Personally, after reading the novel, both English and Chinese version, and reading parts of the script I do agree that it’s best not to read the novel because fans of the novel are more Fixated on following closely to the novel. I already saw a comment from a novel fan how The drama is very messy and all over the place and that the novel didn’t have stories of their youth in university days. There are some people that suggest to just watch it as a separate drum itself from the novel which I will be doing. Honestly, Rarely any drama or movie adaptation will satisfy fans
