Beautiful OST, Beautifully written/acted male lead. Ro-Woon's character was definitely the star of this series. He is a person who knows what he wants, why he wants it and how to defend it.
Despite this being a decent show specially in the first half, i think the lower rating (than the original version) is justified and the main reasons are the ACTORS and the way the writer decided to put his own touch on the second half. I know is kinda boring watching the same script with same scenes again but believe me the touch this time took a big bite of what made the korean version special, specially in the second half where the 2 leads had to express a lot of emotions and there were a lot of memorable scenes. This version lacked depth and proper emotion portrayal by the actors and that's why i would say it's a decent watch, but falls short in terms of the quality of the original show.
honestly there isn’t anything fresh nor outstanding about this show rather than the sexual tension and the chemistry between the two leads in the first half.
honestly after showing this show i 've decided never to trust the reviews or ratings here anymore. I ignored this show for a very long time and ended up watching other dramas that had more positive feedback, but let me tell you this one is better than many of them. Yes it had some problems and yes it wasn't perfect but as a melodrama/ romance fan I think it was pretty good.
i feel like park min young has lost her charm, it's like she is repeating the roles over and over again. with the same facial expressions , personality and attitude. such a shame since I'm a big fan of her's.
Chinese rom-coms can be full of clichés and that's why I always loved K-dramas more. but this show rose above the clichés like a lotus flower. It's not perfect but it's heartwarming, sweet and mature. Totally recommended if you are looking for a light-hearted watch.
To be honest I have mixed feelings for this drama, sometimes its good sometimes it's so cringey and draggy. Overall it was a good watch but compared to other romance C-dramas I think this one falls short in terms of romance.
Stunning acting , storyline and cinematography. Just ignore the people arguing about whether it's the best K Drama of all time or not and go watch it. For me it's the best thriller of 2021/2022 (so far).
Despite this being a very good show with great actors specially the 2 male leads, I found the FL to be very boring and bland, specially the part where the ml found out the truth and she didn't even say or act sorry in a proper way. her smile is infectious but she didn't do the job right for me in this one.
