I'm British, but I speak both Japanese and Mandarin. Does that matter? You don't seem to be understanding what I'm saying. They never wrote the hanzi down in the movie, and 他 and 她 have the same pronunciation. Therfore it's pretty ambiguous whether or not Ming is a woman or a man. You haven't given any proper reason as to why this isn't the case.

I can, and while the letters of she 她 and he 他 are different, they have identical pronunciation. As we never see the pronouns written down, Ming could very well have been a man.
She was actually the most mentally mature out of everyone her age in the main cast. Not sure what you mean there,…
She literally stamps her feet anytime Yi Jin teases her. He flicks her head after the shell game on the beach, and she kicks the shells all over the place and storms off. Is that what you'd call mature? lol

Maybe by the end, but the first 11ish episodes, she had tantrums and would yell at the ML whenever things didn't go her way? She didn't understand what a relationship was at 19 (somehow), and confessed to him like she was 12. This all would have been fine to me had the ML also been as immature/silly in this respect? But he wasn't, they made him completely the opposite, always trying to teach the FL things.
Why did they make Na Hee Do seem so immature in comparison to every other character? Free-spirited and happy is one thing, but the gap in maturity made their "romance" really awkward for me.
Not sure why this is classed as "healthy relationship", I'm eight episodes in and the ML has been nothing but rude and childish. He harrasses her at the beginning, despite knowing she just lost her father, and never apologises for it. When he wants to show he "cares" about her, he yells at her. This isn't healthy at all. The police officer should have been the ML, he actually takes care of her and can handle serious conversations without acting like a toddler.

I'm clearly less informed about this mental illness than you are, but that doesn't change my opinion on the matter.
Having a mental illness makes your actions understandable, it does not make them excusable. It does not give you the right to abuse someone, and I don't particularly remember him redeeming himself after he hurt her. So it's pretty unforgivable in my eyes.

Had no problem with any of that happening itself, it was the way he treated her that bugs me. I very much understand and absolutely adore that this show focused its topic around some really difficult things, and everything he did was completely understandable.
*Except* the fact he treats her so badly during this time. People who feel guilty towards another party and are ashamed (not to mention the fact he likes her) would not then abuse the other person. That makes no sense. You don't feel worthy, so make her feel even worse? You think you caused damage to this girl, so you act in a way that would hurt her more? What?
How in the world does this have an 8.4 rating? The editing, scene-changes, music, everything is so poorly done and cringy. Can people really overlook how bad the editing is?? No matter how good the story is...
The fight choreography for this was absolutely outstanding. It was intense, fast, and there were almost zero cut-aways, no shakey cam. Everything was done in single shots. Hats off to the director of this. It's a masterpiece visually.
Okay, so I have a love-hate relationship with this drama. It's incredible, really, except for a few bits I never see anyone mention. Does no one have a problem with the part where the ML has been taking drugs he shouldn't have been for years against hundreds of warnings that he shouldn't. He then, surprise surprise, gets ill from it, and is like "why me?". I felt no sympathy for him?? He straight up knew this was going to happen. It wasn't bad luck. He isn't hard done to. He did it to himself.
Also low-key hate dramas where one party treats the other like absolute crap because they've suddenly 'decided' that they're not good enough for the other. You've decided you're not good enough, so now treat them absolutely awfully, abuse them to their face, etc. It's all in the name of love, apparently? Nah. It's unhealthy and ridiculous to imagine.
As critical as I could be about a lot of its flaws, the chemistry between the two leads is so re-watchable, this drama is definitely a guilty pleasure for me. I find myself coming back to this drama a lot.
Off the top of my head? The falling down the glass roof was terrible CGI. But maybe you're right about that... you can't deny the fake blood and wounds looked awful though, no?
This all screams gap in maturity to me.

That is not PTSD, it's bad writing, friend.
