Title The Package
Lately Mew has been in a lot of shows that never get subbed. it is frustrating because I love to watch him.
? except for the Wimala series everything was subbed, though sometimes the subs came out later. And The Package is hardsubbed.

I am trying not to be sarcastic here but it is hard. " the CEO tells the manager to translate what he said and the manager answers there is no need because Uno understands everything" this is what I wrote. Is this hard to understand? Do you need a translator? This explains why there is no consecutive translation of the dialogues in the first 2 eps before the earbuds arrive. But it is really nitpicking of the worst kind to criticize a series because you can not see the dialogues being translated anyway. I would bet that if the dialogues had been translated back and forth then that would be your complaint. Like the Russian joke about the wolf beating up the rabbit if it has a cap on that's why, if he hasn't then that's why.

what? what what what? I responded to your detailed explanation breaking it down into two parts because I did not agree with the first and found merit in the second while referring to the rather general sentiment of this being a worthless etc series. Where is the upset? I am lost. I also responded to your offer of analysing you with the same level of seriousness as it was made - ie with some light sarcasm. Looking back at your opening post no doubt it can be interpreted several ways, I chose a negative interpretation. Will try to adjust the attitude, but with all the toxic comments here it is not easy.

chemistry is like beauty, it's in the eye of the beholder. and just as you can't see beauty in a person you dislike,…
Can you quote me telling you what to watch and not to watch? People making foolish choices is their problem, me having an opinion about it is my right the same as it is my right to express my opinion here or anywhere else. There is no way to convince anyone about something being cute and fluffy, it is the same as trying to convince them that broccoli tastes great. We could have discussed the actual points, like the difference in directors, Mew's acting style, etc and I would have been interested in such a conversation. As for fluff no fluff de gustibus non est disputandum and with this classic I say goodbye.

I don't usually explain stuff to ppl below a certain level (IQ30), but here you go: 1: said fluid: in this context said means the aforementioned (hope that is not too much above your head) and maybe you can guess what fluid refers to 2: stink can have a literal and a metaphorical sense, and in this instance it was used in the metaphorical one (do look up the meaning of metaphorical before you again make a clown of yourself please).

" Uno's manager acts as his translator." this is what I wrote. And you can learn about this in ep 1 when the CEO tells the manager to translate what he said and the manager answers there is no need because Uno understands everything. Maybe watch the series before commenting on it?

you might want to clear your head a bit because it seems to be full of said fluid. it stinks, so if you don't mind I let you do that clear up alone.

Okay, serious question... Does Mew say any Korean words or does someone else say something in thai in this series?…
The production company decided to produce a number of series with this bilingual concept between Thai and Korean. The use of the language in the series is explained thoroughly in the dialogues among the various characters. Uno's manager acts as his translator. I wonder what you would post here if you actually had to listen to everything twice through the consecutive translation in the first two episodes. It is a part of Uno's character that he refuses to utter even a word of Korean. Maybe try and figure it out? I would not be surprised if there was later a crucial point when he does say something in Korean - we will see if the writer uses that tool or not. And being mad about this is exactly as you say. I can't see how people are getting mad disgusted outraged bored annoyed vexed by this series and still keep watching... weird.

i thought that mew didn't want to at in bls??
that's a lie spread by a certain fandom and readily picked up by those who love to spread anything negative about him. In fact when asked in interviews (this was still at the ttts promo times) if he would act with anyone else in a BL than his then costar he clearly said yes, he would, subject of course to the actual BL itself. He also said that for him BL is not a genre. There can be comedies, dramas, thrillers, etc and in some of them the main leads could both be male. Hope that satisfies you.

All that pants-wetting and sweaty armpits over...that? I'm not saying an individual's experience of trauma is…
"I have never been so disappointed at a child not being mauled by a rabid animal." just what the fook have I read here? Are you human at all? Even if it's just a fiction how can you write this? The reality is that there are huge numbers of people mortally afraid of dogs (and I mean that in the clinical sense as in having a panic attack if one approaches them) just because they met a wild barking cur as a child. And for Uno the real trauma is the disappointment that a dog he trusted as his only friend turned on him (and if you were human you would understand that this trauma followed his father leaving them and his mother dying when he was still just a little kid). If you can not grasp this concept you truly are in the wrong place because this series here is for those who have at least a modicum of empathy. As for the dog café, there was no time when it was shown during opening hours. It was either before opening or after closing. It is rather unusual to see customers around a café before and after hours, one would think.

when you shout treat people with kindness maybe you should start with some self examination. you know perfectly well what I mean so I am not going into detail.

that's a doubledecker comment here, so let's take it apart:
Uno when asked why the suit responded it was because it was his first day at this job and that he should respect it as such (same as the cute little helper at the cafe, with the difference that the cute little helper is not yet at the level where he has a suit to show respect). As for the lifeguard eg they would not go to their first day meeting with their boss in swimming trunks/suit (they would change later), same as the other workers you mentioned. That's why workers have locker rooms, they enter "civilized" (often in suit, having worked at one time in a factory I know from experience) and at the end of the day get rid of muck and exit civilized. Now to go to the second "deck", it is amazing to see that you actually recognize an important point in how his character is portrayed and can draw conclusions regarding that character from the goings-on in the series. Who would have thought of a senseless worthless cringe af series that it enables such things. Your detailed reply is much appreciated, as for now I see no reason to analyse you further, but thank you for the offer 🤓

funny the number of people saying they have a very low opinion of the series, that Mew is a horrible actor, there is zero chemistry, the story is stupid nevertheless they still keep watching it. Weird. Weird. Weird. Compared to now Mew's acting in TTTS is like looking back at one's performance in secondary school compared to uni. In this 2 year old series he acts still way more similar to his acting in TTTS compared to what he is doing now. A big difference though is the TTTS director, who is outstanding in the way he leads actors. The director here is kind of lacking that talent. But despite all of its shortcomings this is not a train wreck series by far unless you expect a full blown drama as opposed to an enjoyable cute and fluffy bl romcom.

you are watching the series just to watch him take off his shirt, right?
Well, Mew taking off his shirt and showering is about 3 minutes in total for the 8 eps. Otherwise he is the male lead and is present in about 70% of the time fully dressed. Quite hard to miss it unless you only focus on him being shirtless. Which btw is not wrong. I always make sure not to blink for those short peeks of his beautiful body.
