Some of the comments about HJP are so incredibly childish and nonsensical that I have actually created an account just to vent my annoyance about this. I don't agree with the hate that NDS gets but at least when people talk about him it's basically grounded in reality. I think people just overreact. But reading some of the hate comments towards HJP just blows my mind. I mean really what drama were these people watching?

HJP didn't fail as a mentor at key moments. He really only failed at one key moment but that was for an understandable reason. He had just found out that someone he once criticised killed himself and he was feeling guilty enough that he couldn't face people. He only pretends to be close to NDS because NDS lied that they were like brothers. NDS also pretends to be close to HJP. Your take on his confession is extremely unreasonable. He obviously takes care not to burden her. He's just being honest in that scene. He tries very hard to gift things and do things for Grandma but she doesn't allow him to. He makes plenty of selfless decisions like when he decides to give NDS the letter rather than do what is in his own interest to do. He also ends the love triangle and handles rejection like a pro. What on earth do you mean you don't repay the kindness given to you? Of course you do. I'm glad I don't know you in real life. I've never seen such a misguided interpretation of a character. I don't agree with everything people say about NDS but your comment is worse. I think people overreact and sometimes misinterpret NDS' actions but you're just completely making things up about HJP.
