If ashes of love wasnt my cup of tea should i watch this drama or dont bother?
Ashes of love wasn't my cup of tea either but I really enjoyed this one a lot :). Definitely give episode one a go when you have the chance, the characters and storyline are amazing.
In my opinion, the rating is simply a number. Yes, it may be a display of how "good" the show is overall, but it still doesn't change my stern 10/10 on the drama. L&R is such an amazing drama and definitely doesn't deserve an 8, but as long as people continue to love and enjoy it, that's honestly all it matters. ❤
What are some of your favorite scenes in Love and Redemption? Please mark spoiler if there is any :)Mine is the…
Ep 10 when they were stuck together by the rope/tendon thing and XJ said the fire will shorten the tendon then PROCEEDS to demonstrate >.< lol Ep 24 where XJ called "Dingkun Sword!" to protect SF from the demon whip then breaks it afterward. Omg, tbh I low key wanted the demon whip to be used on the Sects who tortured innocent SF 3. The speech/ clarification SF's master gave to the other Sects was also so satisfying And aww ep 3 where XJ was falling from the roof then teleported to SF's bathtub (that was hilarious haha)
Can someone spoil Hao Chen's character? I'm only on episode 11 but I really want to know if he really is a bad…
He was likable in the beginning but that gradually changes as the episodes progresses. He's one of those characters that doesn't know they're evil. :) Despite the crush on Hao Chen now, you'll come to love Si Feng more and more <3
OMG I LOVE HOW U COUNTEd:’DDDBro he literally got stabbed and spit blood that many times how did he NOT die
Riiiighhtt, he literally got stabbed throughhh the body multiple times. HOW did he survive (glad he did though lol) but there then's Purple Fox who got struck by the lightning once and then 3 and SF's spirit beast 3 hooooow

Did anyone else's heart break when XJ promised her father and Hao Chen that she wouldn't see SF again? Even though she didn't mean it, the fact that she promised and verbalized it out loud so heartbreaking ? And the fact that SF heard her made it even more heartbreaking ? I can't imagine how painful it must've been for him. For a fact, SF would never say that despite the circumstance.
This drama was so good, my heart❤ I didn't expect anything in the beginning but came to enjoy it so much. Looking back, the growth of XJ made me so proud and the unrelenting love SF had towards XJ was so heartwarming and admirable. Their love story is one of the strongest and sweetest I've seen this year. I don't think any other ML from the past or future can ever top SF in being the most devoted, sincere, faithful, and TORTURED male-lead. From the beginning towards the end, SF was tortured and hurt in every way possible yet maintained his love for XJ until the very end. The OST "Thousand Years of Love - Shuang Sheng" conveyed XJ's feelings for SF so perfectly. I finished this drama a couple of days ago and everyday SIFENG's name will randomly pop up in my head. XJ said his name so many times, it's ingrained in my mind now :)❤❤Their chemistry was 110/100. Usually, when I finish a drama, it's like "okay that was a good drama, I don't have trouble moving on," but this drama had such an amazing storyline, production, characters, etc., that made it really hard to move on. I actually FELT the emotions of the characters. 10/10 would recommend!
