I do agree that they shouldn't have switched the cast. The first season actors really made their characters likable.
I went straight from the last episode of season 1 to the first episode of season 2 not knowing they did the switch. Watching episode 1 of this second season made me so turned off and disoriented to see the same characters with different faces and (in my opinion) stiffer, less natural acting. So I dropped the drama in the first episode.
Its a shame though, with what they had in the first season, they could have had much more success with the same actors and a good plot.

She woke up from the coma though? The very last scene of the first drama shows her first day back after she recovered and it ends with them getting a new case.
Its a comfortable watch, leaning towards slice of life with sprinkles or romance and drama. If you're expecting any intimate scenes, don't. There's a few hugs here and there, one or two kiss on the cheeks/forehead, but no kiss on the lips (applies for all the couples). Which is both good and bad. Bad in that there were a few scenes I thought could have used a kiss to express the love the couples had for each other, good because anyone who watched Love O2O would know Zheng Shuang is terrible at kiss scenes.
My favourite couple was yao yao and officer Li, because their interactions are always so cute, so much so they become the highlight of all the scenes they appear in (for me).
