I first began watching k-dramas in 2019-2020, but never ended up keeping track of what I’d watched back then. I hope to find and watch more shows that pique my interest, as well as continue to introduce both my family and friends to some of my favourite shows and to the world of (mostly) Korean entertainment. As such, some of the dramas I watched years ago will instead be listed as having been watched more recently due to others tagging along. Examples of this are: Signal, Are You Human Too? and Partners For Justice.

Shows I don't remember the date I started watching will automatically be listed as beginning 2nd July and ending on the last day of the month. This makes it easier for me to keep track of older shows I've watched without having to worry about the dates matching up with 100% accuracy.

I prefer emotional shows that delve into human behaviour and character interactions, with romance as a secondary plot rather than a main plot. Romance as a main plot can still work, however, if the characters feel like they can stand on their own without the other half of the relationship. I don't mind clichés or the use of many tropes, but they must be done well and fit the nature of the show.

I like mystery shows a lot (e.g. Beyond Evil, Signal, Mouse), as well as tropes such as time travel (Signal) and secret identities (e.g. Flower of Evil, Mouse, Are You Human Too?). I'm not too picky as long as the actors can sell it and the writing is decent. Chemistry is the most important.
