Nothing frustrates me more than the ratings on this site... im convinced the only dramas that get good ratings…
i wholeheartedly agree with the letterboxd suggestion especially when relying on films (never really relied on mdl for nothing but dramas tbh, lol).

Both, Alice in Borderland and Sweet Home are in leagues of their own. In regards, to varying levels of genres encapsulating either show. I don't think I could personally pick a favorite from the two of them. Even if I were to I would end up being majorly bias with my choice since I'm used to watching Japanese dramas in the first place. However, putting that bias aside and remaining neutral in this case. I will say there were times when one drama gave me more than the other as well as vice versa. The only thing that matters is that I'm looking forward to each show getting a second season. Now, that's a double win-win.

Sweet Home was the first drama I immediately rewatched after I finished it the first time around (damn right I would sell my soul for it).

I just watched this two days ago, and I'm already missing it... time to go watch it again.

I'm glad that Last Life In The Universe, and Blowfish are mentioned within this list because they're both top tier arthouse films.

I once said I would love to see Lee Joon Hyuk lead a OCN series, and now he officially will.

It was worth waiting for wong kar wai's comeback... I'm eager to see who will be working on the cinematography for this series as well.

If this series ends strongly I would personally love continuous seasons because I appreciate the grotesque approach to this show.

Hi, this is on my "to watch list". Just hesitating because the premise seems like a very heavy and serious mystery…
There isn't any blatant comedy since it's mainly a mystery thriller, but there are some light hearted moments within the dialogue, and in the characters expressions as they react to certain circumstances.

Although, the episodes have been taken off of YouTube you can find them on Dailymotion by searching it's native title "人民的名义", and than the episode number you want afterwards (ex: 人民的名义1). The episodes aren't subbed, so you'll need to download the subtitles (https://subscene.com/subtitles/in-the-name-of-the-people) by cayoung2379. This is where it gets slightly complicated since you can't upload subtitles to the video itself, you'll have to download the video directly from Dailymotion, then open the video onto a media player, and plug in the subtitles yourself. Lastly, since the subtitles aren't in sync you'll have to do it yourself. I hope this somewhat helps. ❣️

Does anyone know if there will be a second season (based on the way season one ended)?
