Ep 12 was a great insight into western civilization.

The divorce case is a mirror to the fact that countries with western values are failing.
The population crisis is just the end result, it;s not the cause.
There are multiple causes and the divorce case in this episode is a small insight of the larger puzzle as to why countries with western values have irreversibly failed in civilizational objectives.

The judgement by the female judge was extremely nice for many reasons.
I was fearing the drama would take even more modern view and justify the case but glad that they did not go that way.

Title Twelve
I thought I would definitely like it,
even the casting was nice.

But this is just very poor execution. Everything about this drama is bad.
Worst part about it that it is also very boring.

What in the world is wrong with you?? ʕಠ_ಠʔ So palace harems and all those dramas with 1 ML…
It's not about the who is vying for whom.
It's about the interactions.

Even in Palace harems, you never see ML having any sort of romantic interactions with other women.
On other hand, there is not a single cdrama where FL does not have these kinds of interactions with multiple men.

Which Cdrama has a ML with a harem?
Every Cdrama on the other hand has a harem for the FL, including this one.
These dramas are basically soft porn for women.
Worse is that even soft porn has better story, acting and nicer b00bs on FL's than these pathetic excuse for dramas.

Your crude dismissals are lazy criticism. Maybe the problem is your unsophisticated expectations. Find a drama…
naa, I like posting truth about these shitty dramas.
You can choose to ignore if you are getting triggered

Maybe because Xu Kai is playing a taoist monk and not a walking playboy and oh God forbid other men dares to like…
Oh yeah and the FL is playing the role of a girl in middle ages, Not really the era to do the kind of shit she does, ain't it.

Monk or no monk, the ML in Cdramas are wimpy simpy cucks with no dignity or spine.

Every episode the ML looks at the FL and keeps reaffirming how incredible she is and bla bla bla.
Every time he does that I keep imagining the ML prostrating at the feet of FL and licking them.

There has not been single Cdrama in last 5 years where the ML has flirted with another woman than the FL on screen.

On other hand, there are dozens this year itself where the FL was shown enjoying herself with other men.

Another shit Cdrama.
Fl + dozens of men, with full interactions, flirtations and everything in between.

ML on the hand is a pure virgin who avoids even eye contact with women.

Xu Kai has been a colossal disappointment in last few years.
Each and every drama of his, he is a wimpy simp pure virgin, while the FL in his dramas are drowning in men.

Yuck.

Have no idea why the ML is even speaking to that horrible woman who murdered his child.

really? She murdered your child and talked as if she was clipping her nails.

Nothing wrong with either of them.
Funny how a man abandons his child, he gets skewered & rightly so.
but a woman murders her baby............that murder is justified as 'choice' and 'empowerment'.

Let's be honest, that ex wife is a monster and a murderer, a filthy subhuman much more vile and evil than the dad who beat and abused his daughter.

murdering a child or abusing a child has a much level of disgust associated than the other things we see.

On your point, I agree, the ones in clinic shaming that women were the real monsters.

It's very refreshing to see a Kdrama that has a moderately positive spin on having children, how loving they are and how they fulfill lives of families.

Title Beyond the Bar Spoiler
Every Korean law drama devolves into "men bad, women good" sanctimonious crap. It's actually impressive…
The ML's ex-wife is a trash and murderer.

She should have received the same fate as the vile man who abused her little daughter.
Alas, the ex-wife still gets to walk around with her head held high after murdering her own child.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and so are you, but what she did to the ML is morally wrong. I understand…
I am not talking about what the ex-wife did to the ML.
I am talking about what she did to the unborn baby.

This episode was very clever & hits the more subtle point hard.
We all as viewers saw what happened to the little girl in the hands of her own father. We were horrified, disgusted and wanted justice for the little girl.
BUT the ex-wife actually murdered the ML's child, it's not an opinion, it's a fact. If the ex-wife did not murder (abort) the little baby, by now that baby would be healthy and happy in the arms of his/her father.

The beating by the father of that little was horrible and we were rightly horrified & yet people give justifications and excuses for the ex-wife murdering a child.

Any parent, father/mother abandons, abuses, does not look after or does not give them enough love, is horrible, period.
Children are the most vulnerable being on this earth & parents are that child's protectors.
If the protectors themselves abuses, abandons or worse murders (abortion) them and we don;t blink , something is wrong with us too.

Ya'll are being really weird here. Its the woman's choice when to have a baby and who she has it with. Just because…
The baby never gets to make choice for itself, does he/she?

Wonder if nazis felt the same way about jews.
As if Jews were not even human but just some lump of cells they can do what they want with it.

'Abortion' is the largest genocide committed in human history, on the most vulnerable humans.
It's not vile, it's beyond evil and frightening that people murder young babies and don't even feel little bit guilty.

Yo...Beyond the Bar is definitely dropping some bars, here. I have since dropped Law and the City and this is…
There was a cute Labrador dog which had a 5 puppies.
The owner aborted all 5 puppies after they were just born.

Wonder how people would feel about the owner who aborted them new born Labrador babies

Now you are thinking the term 'abortion' does not apply if it's just after birth & I am being ridiculous.

That was not the point.
Imagine the emotion you felt when you read the owner murdered the 5 new born puppies.
Now wonder why you don't feel the same emotion when a woman murders her unborn child & are ok with using the word 'abortion' to make it seem as if it was not a murder.

As humans we are supposed to protect the weak.
If we see a little girl being assaulted, it's instinctive to help that girl. We take care of our elderly, disabled & even mentally challenged. We protect vulnerable humans with laws and humanity.
BUT when it comes the most vulnerable humans, the ones in tummy, those little life, extremely vulnerable and extremely precious, we don't blink to murder them and then dehumanize their extinguished life as if they were lumps of meat and did not deserve a chance at life.

A lot of tyrants committed inexcusable atrocities in human history by dehumanizing sections of people.
We are in middle of yet another atrocity as we speak.

Yet another movie/drama from Korean industry that takes a wonderful source material and butchers it.

Here is a suggestion to the Korean film/drama industry.
Stop using your brains. They are become rotten to the core. Just follow the source material 100%

Probably but nothing too serious, as a guy I can confidently say that most guys fall in love every day with a…
This is what happens when you watch Kdramas and Cdrama where the ML is one woman for life and never looks at anyone else kind of guy.

In reality, as a man hits puberty, he is not thinking of love.
He will basically look at any pair of boobies coming his way. If there is an offer for sex, he will take it.
The only exception is if he is in a relationship. Even then his mind and eyes will wander and only restricts himself because of the love he has for the woman he is with.

If a man is single and has offers, he is grabbing them, with both hands, a tongue and other other body parts.
