Being told repeatedly that she cheated and caused her birth mother to leave are soothing words?!

Imagine being called a cheat and person responsible for breaking the family repeatedly.
I am sure the person at the receiving end would be tickled.

No, still it is not DD's fault. It is Park fault that DD was saying those words. At some one point, Park should have told the truth.

Like I said, this is a dysfunctional family & putting 100% blame on YS is stretching it.

There is enough blame in that dysfunctional family, some more than others.
Blaming everything on YS when Park would refuse to protect her as she was being abused by DD is stretching.
Still, as an adult YS was a lot more to blame than anyone else in the family. Park being the mute gets a lot of blame as well. DD at best is a victim of circumstances since she does not know the truth.

That you blame 100% on one person when it's not is a bit jarring.

Anna has officially turned into a turd this episode. She is now telling Park that DD has a boyfriend with issue and that could be the reason for her not leaving.
LOL, she want's DD to do a Anna and abandon the person she loves, like she did 27 years ago.
This Anna woman is insane at this point.

Anna manipulating Park to get DD to US was as bad as SeRa minus the theatrics.

Uncle is a sweet guy. I really hope he does not end up with SeRa.

Yeah Park cheated & so did Anna.
Just because park was wrong does not absolve Anna for the crap she pulled.
Anna did worse than cheating, she is manipulating DD and her dad outright to steal them to US.

SeRa and her mother crying as if they are being wronged by YS is the funniest thing on TV.

A leech is any day better than someone who was never there.

At the end of the day, whether anyone accepts it or not, they are a family. Anna at best is the person who gave birth to DD.
Park, YS, DD,DB etc etc are family who have been through life for all of DD's life. Good, bad, ugly or anything else, they stuck together, hurt each other, some more than others.

Anna just stuck a spike in Park's heart and left for her own desires.

Everything could have been set right had Anna not done what did for the past few episodes.
She is trying to steal someone else's family forever (yes, good or bad, they are YS family).
Imagine the shamelessness for just waltzing in after 27 years and trying to steal back people whom she discarded.

At this point in the series, YS looks a lot better than Anna.

And that some one else is a million times worse mother to DD and a million times worse wife to Park.
Anna quite frankly does not deserve husband or children after what she did.

Even now, all she does is do shady things for her own personal gain.
She is worse than YS in some aspects.

Regarding how YS hurt DD and DD hurt YS, I place this on Mr Park.
He should have told DD the truth about how her birth mother abandoned her.
Had DD known this, the whole YS-DD dynamic would not have been so bad. DD was rightfully resentful of YS. Had she known the truth, she would not have been.

Now that the truth will come out, wonder how the show would take this forward.
The way I see it, after Park and Anna cheating, YS has the moral high ground. Would this be redemption ark for YS or Anna or Park?

It's like a train wreck you can't help but watch in awe and amazement.

If this was a Cdrama, would have dropped it long back since the characters would be so one dimensional.

Kdramas tend to made the characters so interesting and unpredictable.
You can hate the what's happening in the drama but you keep coming back for more.

She pretty much has an emotional affair with the ML while being with the other guy.
Just because it was not a physical affair does not make it any less nauseating.

That they get together soon after the FL break up pretty much confirms that they were indeed having an affair.

Considering how trashy most of Cdramas can get, this was not bad.

Take back what I said about this drama,
This is pretty fun.

Thought it would be traditional perfect rich guy & needs to rescue the girl.

This is different in a good way bit of reversal on traditional take.
The ML is a little dumb and sweet. The FL is the cold one but you can see the playful smile lingering on her and she looks deadly beautiful when kicking.

the ML's friend needs to get a grip.
He tried and the FL's friend says no to him multiple times. At this point, it's just harassment. Have seen this play out in Cdramas where the guy does not get the message. These guys think it's ok to pursue when the girl says NO.
Even in this drama the ML asks if she has a Boyfriend. Dude need to understand whether she has a bf or not is moot. All you need to know is she does not like you and asked you to back off.

It is a hypothetical scenario & my response was specific to that scenario.

but it has happened, not to DD but to her mom & it is probably one of the central themes of the drama.

How can we ignore the elephant in the room - her mom leaving DD and her dad & not bring it in discussion of a hypothetical scenario of DD leaving YG.

DD has been contrasted with her mom very frequently in the drama, more so in the recent episodes.
So, even if it's not tasteful, it is pertinent to discuss it because the drama is also doing the comparison.

I am not judging DD's character,

My reply was only to a hypothetical scenario of DD leaving.

What her mom did has a huge impact on DD's life, thinking and choices, most of which in a positive way.

Bringing her parents is the best way to juxtapose what DD is doing and what happens in case she decides to give up akin to her mom.

That's a hypothetical response to a hypothetical scenario being discussed.
After all, isn't Anna's regret an important point of the drama?

May be it was over-board by bringing in the world 'cheat' but in a hypothetical scenario, it probably serves as a shock word to understand how regret plays later in life, of missed chances and opportunities.

Because they are her parents &
what her mom has done has affected a lot of her choices until now.

Not sure why people are so sensitive when I bring in the parents.

The drama makes it very clear that DD is trying to make choices markedly different from what her mom made long back.
That is one of the salient points of the drama, unless we want to ignore the mother & daughter sitting in front of each other and DD making it very clear to her what's important to her.
It directly compares the choice her mother made long back VS the choice DD is making now.

since the whole thing 'IF' DD does something, my answers are only to that 'IF' and not to how DD is being in the drama - a woman deeply attached to the people she loves and wants to be with them.

The relationship at this point has nothing to do with her parents.

Her choices though have everything to do with her life experiences. A large part of that comes from her thinking her dad cheated on her mom. This reasoning has played in the drama and DD's choices.
So, to say her parents have nothing to do with her choices in her relationship is wrong.

And I stick to it, if DD gives up, she does not deserve her love. Not just YG but any other love as well. Just because she is a girl does not mean she should not fight for what's hers.
It things get tough & she bails, what's the point?

Some times bringing in those brings bit of clarity to how things should be.
Does Anna regret what she did 27 years back? If given a chance, would should still make the same choice?

These kind of hypothetical questions make for interesting contrasts. Does the child make the same choices and mistakes the parents made? That is one of the important aspects of a family drama.

Without these comparisons and contrasts, it would make for a boring drama :)

If YG does not fight at this point, he does not deserve DD period.
That poor girl has put her heart out & if he does not man up at this point, it simply means he does not deserve her.
