Looking at how most Cdramas have wimpy ML who can barely be called men, looks like these kind of men are the preference.

As per these dramas, strong woman means one who is abusive, drunkard to the point you wake up in difference places next day without memory, rates men based on looks etc etc.
And good men means simping the girl no matter what, take the abuse and smile.

Amazed at the scene where the FL friend goes to ML office and warns him.....because his ex came back.
Just wondered at that point why the ML was taking this kind of crap from this girl.

I swear I did not review it by my mouth. It was shut when I was reviewing this piece of crap of a drama.

Those 27 years of struggle, despair, agony just vanish because......?

Reconciliation will happen after Anna puts in a lot efforts.

Woman just gives birth to a girl. Her husband abandons them both for career and money. He leaves them for dead basically.
Would anyone root for this guy to get back with the woman she abandoned for 27 years?
That woman would have to be pretty pathetic to accept this guy.

In a relationship, even cheating can be forgiven and relationship rebuilt. Abandoning and dumping a new born - it's basically unforgivable. I really can't think of a worse thing a person do to their partner than this.

Got to remember that this is a 50 episode drama.
usually amnesia plot becomes very angsty. Here it became playful.

Considering the nature of drama, need to leave logic behind and take things in it's stride to enjoy the fun.

Loving this drama so far.

Both main leads are extremely likable.

there is no way the writers could have made a 42 year old man turn into a jealous beast for the girl.
being 22 year old in his mind, it removes a lot of shackles to turn this love story into a cute one without ML being inhibited, self-doubting and conscious.

for this version of YG, he is about to be encounter his first love.

Well, that's how strong woman are portrayed in Cdramas.
They change men faster than than they change their dress, where as they men in her life would be waiting for her forever.

It's basically catering to female fantasy of being in power in relationship. The woman would have lot of important things she cares for & the BF would not one of those important things. Where as her lovers would need to simp her and follow her like loyal dogs and cater to every of her whims.

What Step-mom has done, she will pay for it.
This is not about her and what she has done.

This is about Anna and what she has done.

You think Mr Park will do a happy dance when he comes to know who Anna is?
Or you think DanDan would smile and run into arms of Anna after learning she was abandoned?

What is it that you are expecting?

Give me a break. If Mr Park still loves the woman who abandoned him and his daughter and almost caused their deaths, he is the biggest idiot ever born.
And if Anna ever loved him or DanDan, she would never have abandoned them.
She loved her career and money more. And the man is aware of that fact, in most painful way.

At this point in the drama Anna has done nothing to deserve Mr Park and DanDan.
In fact, she point blank does not deserve to be with them.

The way the show will go, she will have her own arc where she will face up to what she did and make amends.
At that point, this discussion would be valid & I would be on team Anna.

Right now, at this point in the drama, Anna has no right to be anywhere near that man and his daughter.
Let's be honest, DanDan is NOT her daughter. She did not raise her for a single day of DanDan's life. She did not earn a single penny for DanDan to use. She has done absolutely nothing except being the cause of DanDan and Mr Park's sadness and misery.

Everyone has a motive. Some times it's love. Sometimes it's need. Sometimes it's greed.

Nothing wrong in having a motive as long as they are good to each other and there for each other.
YS was a flawed Step-mom but she does indeed love Mr Park in her own way.

Not everyone stays together because they have pure motives. Life is more complex than that.
For a man with a new born, what YS did was nothing but a miracle. Does Mr Park need to care about motive or hang on to the glimmer of hope that comes his way?

Mr Park deserves his happiness?

May be some one should ask young Mr Park who was left with a new born if he deserves happiness...
People are underplaying the absolutely unpardonable & horrible thing Anna did to this man and his daughter.

What's the use of a nice person if that person dumps you in your most vulnerable state and thinks about themselves?

Without Anna, Park and DanDan still lived a decent life. Not great life but a decent life.
Without that horrible step-mom, Park and DanDan were as good as dead.

Mr Park I am sure would rather have a greedy & flawed YS who would stick with him thick and thin than a woman who cared only for herself and abandoned them.

Anna is a nice woman but did something so horrible and unpardonable that her redemption ark needs to be well done.
YS is a flawed woman but her worst does not begin to compare to what Anna did to Park and DanDan.

Yes, Anna cannot pretend past did not happen. She can't buy her way out of her sins,

The reconnect needs to happen organically.

That means Anna needs to come clean. She will need to strive hard to build her relation with DanDan and her dad.
It can't be because she has money or because Step-mom is horrible.

Them getting back together needs to be about them healing what happened in past & then growing from there.

I am only comparing a horrible situation Anna put her husband & daughter in to a bad situation they landed with the step-mom.

My point is simple. One can't be absent for 27 years and expect that to not have an impact.
DanDan does not know she was abandoned by Anna.
I would bet DanDan would prefer mistreatment from her step-mom to knowing her real mom abandoned her.

She was a bad step-mom , no doubt.

Between a bad Step-mom who took take care of you half-hardheartedly and real mom who abandoned, it's not a choice. Step-mom always by default since the real mom was never there.
