Was about to comment this at first i was excited but halfway through i was like meh and didn't really wacht it
Yup, meh. I'm still watching it but it suffers from lack of anticipation. Even Episode 12 commented on it! Originally it's exciting and seems great but it sucks when you know what's coming.
I'm totally on board with most comments here. I really hope that either its a happily ever after where the couple live contentedly in the past until each's earthy demise, OR that it has a tragic ending where they're separated forever since she doesn't belong in the past and she DOESN'T meet some lookalike. God, the lookalike reincarnation trope is so overdone at this point! Please no more.
Hey guys, how many years have passed between the backstory and Black's return (2016)? I somehow missed exactly…
I totally agree that the first 3 and a half episodes take place in 2011. If you look at the Thai newspaper with headlines accusing Black of being a murderer and military deserter in Episode 2 at 52:07, the date reads 2554.3.10. Since the Thai calendar is a Buddhist calendar, just subtract 543 to get the year in AD so 2011.3.10...
This is hands down one of the most offensive dramas I've ever had the displeasure to watch. Ethics? What are those? Scientific and Research Methods? Who needs 'em? Informed Consent? Why bother, am I right? Deception in research that causes lasting psychological harm to the participant? No problem! If this were a real experiment, then this article would read "11 Famous Psychological Experiments That Could Never Happen Today."
Completely agree with this list with the BIG exception of Healer. Healer has to be in my top 3 favorite dramas of all time... and BOTTOM 3 for music - especially "Eternal Love" which sounds like a cheesier, musak cover of a Phil Collins song. Shudders... Horrible.
PS - you know you're a drama addict when...
