What should I say - started of good as Davika and the lead guy are real eye candies - was good and cute bickering and romance till 5-6 ep and bearable till 10 eps -after which it went all downhill - became repetitive and draggy barely tolerated from ep 11-15 just so i dint want to drop it mainly for Davika as she is really pretty and has a screen presence. The characters do not show any development or learning or take any logical decisions. they drag the mother-son issue which can be concluded in a few seconds to 7+ episodes. sad that a otherwise good drama ended up a disappointment. I agree with other reviews below on why its gone bad
Utterly ridiculous just watched to see if any one single character made sense -nopes. Absurdly ludicrously pathetic - huff-puff i had to look up the thesaurus to come up with some new word to describe this drama.
---> I used to recommend this: My Only Excuse is that I watched years ago, fresh after leaving K-dramas...…
I am with you - am just out of Kdrama and fell straight literally into the thai world- i couldnt agree more or say it better than what you did -explained it perfectly for me. Thumbs up dude
I have question. I saw that the drama series Rebel and Hong Gil Dong are somehow connected. They have the same…
Its two different takes on the same character- They are NOT connected- Hong Gil dong is like the korean Robinhood and there is no specific order to watch- they are from different writers and directors. I liked the 2008- Hong Gil Dong better -story acting and direction wise it is richer and more beautiful or maybe my bias as it was one of my earliest KDs
That was an interesting article KearaMH-Kudos to you! It was a very nice thought process / Article and you were bold enough to venture into being hypnotised by a stranger! I find it interesting from the answers below most of us who are interested in this are the ones who believe they cant be easily hypnotised lol. As sceptical as i am that I cant be easily hypnotised especially by a novice(as i think im highly opinionated and egoistic) -I wouldnt take a chance with a stranger in my laptop to do it. I believe you are very strong minded to be willing to take a chance. Would like to share some of my thoughts on after reading your article (sorry its a bit too long).
I think we as a generation (especially most of us self admitted Drama Addicts) are a hypnotised lot -hypnotised enmasse by the Screens and people behind it- Laptop- Mobile-Tab-PC . I strongly suspected some time ago If koreans use some kind of black magic LOL- as i couldnt tear myself away from their dramas. I remember in one of their dramas (could be Hyde, Jekyll, Me (2015) korean drama - could be wrong also) there was a dialogue or thought which went something like -" If you remove all your memories of your life from your mind are you still living/alive or are you the same person ? " it left a very strong impression on my mind- it was like a Buddhist Zen- Koan/ riddle that made me mull on it for a long time.
I also remembered when we once were moving houses we sold our house and all our stuff was on the truck. In the new empty house we were waiting for our stuff to arrive- I felt that "all i call home was loaded on this truck". It was like I was a nomad and except for my family and that stuff on the truck - i was nothing And it was a moment & a feeling I cant forget or explain clearly.
I feel its the same with memories - Here Keara -I liked how you put it albeit about old dramas "I watch and throw it in completed list" - Without the old memories we become nothing and every experience -read drama -we see is like water poured into mud which seeps and mixes up with it and becomes a part of us- it cannot be easily separated from who we are just like how water and mud cannot be separated. But there are some techniques which work but needs a little work :)
The only time I ventured into a kind of hyp was when my brother had newly learnt the art of Past life regression (it uses a technique similar to the one you mentioned - imagine the swirling tunnel etc) and wanted me to be the guinea pig. I agreed to it since i trust him obviously. The result was very interesting(will share more if anyone is interested) as I thought i could see some things i can Swear I havent seen or heard in my lifetime and so could not have jumped out of some part of recorded memory anywhere - it was a very novel experience. ...Still a part of me was skeptical that my mind was making it all up. Was a very interesting experience.
Sorry i digressed - coming back to your topic just as i believe such a generic hypno-technique may not work, I can share one more technique which I believe worked for me (Vipassana -google can explain this if u wish- am not advocating it merely sharing my experience) After i did the 12 day course i felt a lot of my memories both good and others mostly not so - were gone. After that many things people brought up was like WHAT Did i really say that -Did we do that- was it really like that.. To cut the long story short i think it is based on the ancient principle that memories and mind are strongly connected to our breath and neuroscience still cant begin to explain this phenomenon. You can google for "memories and breath control"
Hope i did not bore you to death - but to conclude I remain a Drama addict and enjoyed all the good, bad and most trashy dramas that Dramaland has produced and from a voracious reader to a voracious drama watcher - my drama journey has introduced me to a whole new world - culture and society friends-and so wouldnt like to forget any of it - and let me waste more time one new nonsense - and not the old :) ROFL
Wow what a seriously funny and honest review & a confession - i was wondering at myself for wanting to watch these type of dramas but you made my day with your sentence "What's worse is that I think I actually enjoyed it instead." - Enjoyed your review a lot - am gonna befriend you hope you dont mind
Try as i might i could not watch beyond 14 eps though i like the lead guy and girl somehow the lead girl and her mother got so annoying and dont know the difference between right and wrong and so weak - sorry i cant take it anymore
Eng subs: http://dramacool.es/drama-detail/pin-anong I recommend this drama if you like "damsel in distress"…
You were spot on with the comment zero growth Try as i might i could not watch beyond 14 eps though i like the lead guy and girl somehow the lead girl and her mother got so annoying and dont know the difference between right and wrong and so weak - sorry i cant take it anymore
Completed just now and It was good enough so i continued to the end. it started off a bit differently but had given into cliches and ended on a good note. with the lead girl and her ex sacrificing for their love but everyone is reformed and get a good ending. Good chemistry between HO Peter and Janine Chang.
I've never seen so much stupidity and miscommunication or non-communication between leads. They get together and…
LOL you just said everything i wanted to about this drama. i thought i was the only one that is pulling my hair out- never have i reacted so much to other stupid dramas. This one takes the cake
The ending doesn't justify the time spent on this one and i truly watched it out of curiosity about how much worse it can get and by god it goes from worst to worser Painful.. to say the least
