i think the problem here was that the og trailer wanted to portray a different story than what the main show turned out to be and that's why viewers kept being a little disappointed because they already had a mindset about how the story was gonna be, and i feel like the og trailer showcased the "heart skips a beat" thing more prominently too.
but having said all that i actually really liked the message that the main show is trying to tell, in this day and age not chasing success and just existing in a small little happy bubble and being satisfied with your ordinary life is actually a revolutionary message and it really resonated with me.
obviously po and thame had amazing chemistry so i have no complain about them and i even enjoyed jun and po's dynamic in the first half. also the show really did make me fall in love with mars so good job on that. all in all it was actually a good watch if we can just forget about the og trailer, but yeah i had a lot of fun <3
today's episode was so funny, lee heesu my pathetic loser king and kim seung won his #1 protector.... i cant believe they left it at that i wanna know what happens next πππ but i wish we were at a point in the show where when chan young tells heesu that he is dating ji yu, heesu's reaction is that he thinks of how hurt kim seung won will be and not whatever they are doing right now.... but at least he's slowly noticing how present seung won is in his life so lets see where this goes
don't get me started he's so annoying and mean and rude πππ
i knoooow!! and that's why he reacted like that with ji yu, out of habit, but she is not hee su so she wasn't gonna let him be rude to her, and ofc that made him go "she's not like the others π" ughhhhhhh π€’
THE STORYTELLING THIS EPISODE WAS SO GOOD 1. seung won and his empty house. seung won imagining himself in heesu's lively house just from all the loud talking. seung won having a meal with heesu and his sisters and it is exactly as chaotic as he had imagined and he loves every bit of it. hee su finally coming inside seung won's house and eating on the same dinner table making his empty house full of noise and liveliness 2. seung won peeking at heesu's reflection through the glass on the bus cause he can't look at him straight on, then heesu falling asleep on seung won's shoulder and we the viewers watch them through that same window reflection while seung won adjusts himself so that heesu becomes comfortable and the outside lights blending into the reflection - MY FAVOURITE SHOT 3. seung won always kept asking heesu what he likes in the last few episodes and heesu never had a definite answer but finally seung won figured it out when he stepped into heesu's room - space and universe and astronomy <3333
SEUNG WON'S POV IS SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!! the way he looks at heesu is so full of love im dyingggg also i really like ji yu she is so cool and this episode made me hate chan young even more lmao like i dont care about his tennis, his family also he was so rude to ji yu when she didn't deserve that! and the fact that he kept calling hee su because he was feeling lonely when he didn't even check up on him once in the last 2 episodes made me sooooo mad. but anyway lets talk about the fact that they kept the gay mom storyline!!!!!! this episode was just GAY RIGHTSSSSS also ji yu dressed in the most lesbian clothes ever on that triple date i kind of have a crush on her too lol
ep 4 is more bout chanyoung n that girl... heesu and seungwon is like the sec leadπ I'm skipping soo much cuz…
literally!! everytime chan young was sad, heesu was there by his side! but not once did chan young ask heesu about whats bothering him, he is such a bad friend and this show expects me to care about him???
never have my interest in something declined this fast.... how did the main character get relegated to the side. at first i was excited about the stalker but now they are stretching this out way too much, now that girl from ep 1 likes him too?? how is he gonna have the time to fall for seung won when he has 1000 things to deal with and that too those are all related to his crush on chan young...
but heesu was soooo pathetic here my gayby who is so afraid of being outed but can't stop himself from not liking the straightest guy ever cause his heart is just that big. i love how his "rejection" mirrored seung won's and you can't help but feel a bit sorry for both of them π
