Many people currently almost lean towards MDL ratings being typically unreliable which is entirely not true at all, it captures a wide variety of viewers who like/hate the show and in between. I see comments saying this show deserves more ratings but looking at Average TV viewership ratings as per the audience measurement performed nationwide by Nielsen Korea
Ep. __broadcast date__Average audience share ______________________Nationwide____Seoul 1- August 10, 2024--4.786%_______ 4.495% 2- August 11, 2024-- 5.176%_______5.013% 3- August 17, 2024--3.902%_______3.963% 4- August 18, 2024--5.326%_______5.365%
This show has a fluctuating increase and decrease and the ratings will hopefully increaseas the plot progresses(hopefully) The TV ratings are a tiny bit on the lower side(for JTBC) considering it has 3 idol actors and other known cast
I LOVED Vengeance of the Bride 😩There are many good daily dramas, but similar to vengeance of the bride?? Not…
Will check out Love to the End and love and secret, Thanks for the suggestions :) Vengeance of the Bride was surprisingly good/enjoyable considering how these dramas end up a headache and train wreck having a track record for revealing major things towards the very end and wrapping off things in light speed lol.
You might enjoy Third Marriage it has one month left to finish. kinda similar to Gold Mask like the revenge plot.…
I was unsure about Third Marriage but now will definitely check it out after it ends lol and reading the other drama summaries they seem like the vibe I'm going for Thanks for the suggestions :)
Can you guys recommend any other weekday drama (if all the episodes have aired then much better). I did watch "Gold Mask" and "Vengeance of the Bride" both of which I enjoyed. I'm unable to find shows with similar story and progression.
"The two Sisters"is so confusing, at some point I'm not sure if I'm watching the same show I started lol.
I don't know why are people getting angry at episode 50, I think this was needed for the plot to end smoothly
I mean most of the people who actively discuss here have been with series since the start, they have waited for each episode over a span of almost 25 weeks, so watching the whole premise revert to its maiden week is pretty upsetting tbh.
In the beginning the FL was a pushover, she was miserable but didn't do anything to get out that misery and no one helped her. She thought there was no light in the end of her tunnel.
The audience immensely sympathized with her, hoping she could carve out her own world, the only person who genuinely helped her was the ML. He came from a broken home, he was frustrated not knowing how his parents so tragically let his world, his grandma went missing and he had no one to call family. He had flaws. He was imperfect too.
BUT he saw that the FL was in pain and took it upon himself to slowly bring her out of her shell, love her without strings attached and help express herself. She learnt there was a life beyond the dreaded monotone she was living. She loved him too, and usually when you love someone you wouldn't put them in pain knowingly For ex: FL's dad did not love her mom or his kids period. So he left with someone he loved.
FL knew how it felt to be abandoned but she chose to abandon the person who trusted her and loved her, It is true that this might be actual outcome because the FL is obviously suffering from PTSD and did not receive the help she needed so she could relapse to her old ways BUT THAT DOES NOT JUSTIFY HER ACTIONS. NOPE. And thus the displeasure.
We the viewers watched her grow to an actual human from a shell of a human being, this action of hers reverted that and many are JUSTIFIABLY angry of course and that feeling is very much VALID. Its exhausting being a weekend/daily drama viewer lol.
In the end of the day the FL truly needed time away from everyone, but from a story/plot pov its too late, but from her character's pov the timing is not at all wrong. She neede to heal and she did it on her own terms which is some serious character growth.
But at the end everything turns out better than the expected trajectory :)
EDIT - Just noticed the ratings went down from 7.6 to 7.5 in one day, sucks to see that because this is one of the better shows out there but it was expected.

Does anyone know which episode is this scene from?
Is it before or after the time jump?
Also is there no preview of next episode??
