He asks what's the opposite of ladyfingers (okra). The answer was mento(e)s because:Lady = menFingers = toes
I get that joke but in korean it doesn't sound like he's speaking that so i just wanted to know if in Korean they are talking about something different (sorry if i wasn't clear). in the sense... did they change the entire joke to make it fit in the subtitles... or something like that? thats what i was curious about ^^'
can someone tell me whats the actual joke in the drama? i feel like it is getting lost in translation (subs) maybe? i don't think kim dooshik is talking about ladysfingers and mentos
About SWDBS...it started out great but then the plot fizzled out a bit, I finished it rather laboriously after the 12th episode. I agree on how the crime arc was lacking in some way.
Circle...left me speechless. Raised my standards to a new high. The plot is so detailed and well tied...the plot twists were thrilling and I was gripped till the end. I was an emotional mess and yet so awed at how well executed and high quality the plot was...even the performances were phenomenal. I haven't watched anything so fast as this one and I couldn't watch another drama for a while after watching Circle because of how amazing it was. I was crazy surprised to see how it didn't get that popular.
