i watched episode 12 not knowing it was the last episode till the final few minutes where it dawned upon me loose strings were being tied and i’m just so SAD it’s OVER

can someone please explain the mole scene? and finding the hidden radio? and why when they put it together again did it activate their radio? wasn't the mole reporting to the north? or did that mean both radios were connected and the mole could listen in? my brain hurts
