"Sultan Süleymān is a proud name for Turkey and all Muslims" - All Muslims? Pretty sure not everyone is proud of a ruler who killed and enslaved so many people.

"Female costumes are not relevant to Ottoman history. All royal ladies in the series are dressed in western attires, exposing their hair and chest to other men, something unimaginable in that era in the palace of the Islamic Caliph /.../ This is such a shameful thing for a Muslim woman who actually follows Islamic rules and regulations by heart. It’s very important to me, and that’s why I thought non-Muslims shouldn’t misunderstand this at all"
- Such a shameful thing?! Hope you realise that not all Muslim women wear head coverings and hide their chest?

These opinions are just ... yikes...

Title She Would Never Know Spoiler
Except for the first 2 episodes the ML has been really understanding and gives the FL space... He is also fine…
I talked about ML in my previous comment.
Only 3 or 4 chapters came out for now, so I don't know the whole story behind SFL's behavior...

To follow up on what ponnu wrote above:
I think this is kind of a mistake of the series production tbh... Unfortunately, they didn't properly show ML's train of thoughts to us - the viewers. It was a lot clearer in the original webtoon. His inner monologue and reasoning are much better explained (though like it was already mentioned, still a bit over the line at one point)

This is really a slice of life DRAMA, and it seems that a lot of commenters are overlooking that fact... Last two eps were brutally realistic, plot wise as well as the characters' behavior. (Tbh, the only thing that was kind of unrealistic from the start for me was "the love hexagon" lol)

Title When the Weather Is Fine Spoiler
So, why did he called her Irene?
Eunsub at one point said that there is a song that mentions name Irene, and he likes that song, so... He was actually referring to a well known song "Goodnight Irene" :)

Loved the article! And the fact that you've added that quote about Heidegger too! I've also noticed that in several (transitional) scenes professors, for example, actually explain what's happening in the show!
Even though the manhwa author seems kinda "dumb" with all the cliches etc, tbh after those philosophy quotes and other explanations, to me it looks like the author is not so dumb, and just enjoys "playing God" and being mean! hahah (creepy!!)

So I put this on hold after the 3rd ep despite really loving Kangjun's acting as I always do... Should I pick it up again? In which ep do they go to Lisabon?
Other than that, pls keep it spoiler free , thanks! :)
