I am aware that there will be a revenge ark eventually and yes i did pause a couple eps ago because the two steps forward one step back in his character developmentwas hard to stomach. And I assume that the writer didin't write him as learned helplessness it just fits very well in my view. And yes, learned helplessness or not, he is not choosing to be helpless, it has to do with his circumstances.

For me Xiao Fan is the poster child for "learned helplessness" which I learned about in psych class. It is quite devastating to see it in action in an animal/person and it takes A LOT of retraining/therapy to get an animal/person to to unlearn it.

About how was he not aware, the show doesclarify so it seems like it is part of the whole society but in the web novel it is explained that they are a small minority (i forget if a persentage was mentioned) that keeps to themselves surrounded by a normal population. That explains why Sangnuea was vauge about why the attack happened at the very beginning of the show. When Phasta was brought into the fold, we can assume news spread within the comunity and suddenly a kid that he already knew (from hanging out in the cafe?) is telling him about their omegaverse concerns. Also Ongsa is Phatsa's bro, not genetic brother🫡

Yeah, oat mentioned it in a reaction video. I think it was more the prop department was looking for something in that shape and that is what they found than Phasta uses a kitchen tool as a sextoy in the bathroom.

This reminds me of the scene in mad men at a dr's office where the wife is at an appointment and the dr discovers she has something really bad going on but the dr doesn't tell her, instead tells her husband who took her to the appointment. And I agree that the bun is currenly only assumed.

So you think the screenwriter wrote the green drink saga as commentary about autonomy but it got dumbed down to "look he's pregnant!!!" in the show? Maybe the web novel will show more nuance when that chapter is released

Yeah, a tiger mom revenge arc would be nice considering how he is being treated. I read somewhere (spoilery) that his pure omega pheremones will eventually be able to subdue even true alphas but will he actually make use of it in a i am top dog kind of way? And even if that does happen is it still sad.

I second the horror aspect. At first he was put into a box and now he is being treated like a vessel. Not being told why, just being told what to do. And Nakhun changing from practically absent partner (depite the green flags) to giving princess treatment because of a bun in the oven, just no.

I feel horrible enough for him that I'm starting to hope he has a revenge ark. Just because most of them are 'well meaning' doesn't absolve them.

"Attentive cause of the baby, not cause of him".... I would feel so betrayed if I found out that's why my partner's project was suddenly not the priority anymore and that is why they were suddenly able to make time for me.
Also the household's whole disregard for his bodily autonomy that was played for laughts wearing him down to drink those green drinks. It left a really bad taste in my mouth, more so than the many instances of getting him to do omega-coded things for the household.
I hope were will be resolutions to these issuses I am satisfied with eventually because I really have been enjoying the show until now... and for the resolution to not just be 'oh, he's a pure omega so now we suddenly respect him and accept that he doesn't like to make flower arrangements etc'

I don't think we know yet in the novel, chapters are being published a little bit behind the show storywise.

Ouch, but that would explain why the production quality didn't level up from my stubborn despite it's (i assume) success and the unexpectedly good profits that went along with that. So i am wondering if Love Scandal (the show staring Knot's third couple, which a pilot was released for) will be the same tight budget production or if those actors somehow got a different package deal for when they are leads. It would be super ironic if their show has a bigger budget after my stubborn and knot were kept on a similar level😂.

They said that in a we know inside info kind of way or surprise/realization kind of way? Because I don't think those t-shirts are the same. Naphitch's collar is about an inch wide while Sangnuea's is around half an inch wide.

I guess I need to watch more (earlier?) dramas to be able to make comparisons and I definitely have bias for this show because I loved it so much. Anyways, it was fun discussing with you!
