historical? because if you're missing cbls in general we have 3 more to come next week (with multiple episodes)
Zhang Zhao Adventure has such a heart warming bromance! It doesn't come from bl source material but it still scratched my men caring for each other itch (and the action sequences are excellent throughout) and it is a period piece!
I keep having two random questions stuck in my mind.... 1. In ep 4 when dude gets burned alive there is a eunuch that bumps into him to start the fire and says greetings from Lishan. This eunuch, was he a rando that was paid by FL to do it and say that or is that eunuch actually loyal to Lishan. 2. Were the 30,000 soilders that were part of the former prince Ding's army/cavalry all executed? In the last episode they said something about their souls.... I was under the impression that in this type of situation the army gets disbanded, not every soldier getting executed.
have to say....am reallly waiting for mjl's re-entry into the drama.....i hope he comes in all swords slashing....like…
I loved that moment as well! I love when a male character who comes off as 'useless' but happens to be an excellent dancer is revealed to be a master swordsman. There was a character like that in Prisoner of Beauty as well.
1. So FL was 13 when she left Ye mansion with her mother to LIshan mountain. And her mother died before reaching…
He rescued her when she was a few years younger than 13. She was traveling (I don't remember where from/to). If you go back to watch the rescue scene it's a younger actress than the one who plays the 13 year old YL.
The Marquis's son is really dumb. He's happy that the Queen Dowager brought him back, but he doesn't realize that…
Well, he definitely makes a lot of mistakes but I don't think it comes from stupidity, he acts a fool because he been sheltered and spoiled. He misses the political 'implications' of things because the people around him have literally been keeping that kind of info from him, we see it over and over again with his scenes.... he is super naive but he isn't the complete brat that I would expect with that upbringing.... he has empathy (and acts on it) and when he notices that things are off he asks questions (but gets instructions as opposed to answers). I'm guessing his ending won't be great but I hope we get to see him at least try to level up in the show as opposed to getting used and remain too naive to see it.
one moment his bestie is heartbroken and couldn’t even send off his own beloved. us: 😭😭the next moment…
Lol... there was also a rescue in between!.... but what got me was that he took a day off while the case was still going on. During that scene I totally thought that there had been a time jump, the case was over, and it was the first quiet momemnt aka confession time for YL.... but then the big moment of the sceen turned out to be that cool looking fish🫠
I still have some unanswered qs. How did Danshim survived in the modern era? How did she know Hyun since she was…
This: 'How did she know Hyun since she was never appointed as his servant? How would Hyun fall in love with Danshim when it has always been Seori he loved?' I also don't get that.... and did they change the timeline? As in seori gets shot with the arrow, becomes danshim and they run away together... So she doesn't go back to the court to become the 'villanous consort'? Why was Seori poisoned? At the begining of the story? Because she was the scapegoat for something the king had done to the queen.
I have a random question... I was just looking at the ages of the actors in the drama and saw that there is a 7 year age gap between FL (older) and ML(younger), but I didin't see any one bashing the FL for being older like I saw with FL in Love from beyond the grave (where there is a 8 year age gap). Why did one pairing get bashed and not the other? Is it because in this drama the FL plays a character that is 2 years younger than the ML and in the other one the FL is hundeds of years older? Is it because Chen Du Ling has a baby face (this made her perfect for her role) whereas Dilraba does not (this made her perfect for her role)? I am very confused.... Or was there a similar amount of bashing and it just didin't reach me....
I binge watched the last 10 episodes, and they were so good!I really enjoyed this drama. It had a few slow and…
In the last episode when the emperor reads the decree praising CZ + her dad and condemig XYF he is 12 and has 'come of age' aka the age where he rules independently, and also it is mentioned soon after that it is the 5th year of his reign, right? At the start of the show he was 6.... the drama didin't show time passing very well I guess? I think that several years passed between the showdown at the hunt and the emperor reading that decree.
Welcome to MDL!They won't be banned. Chinese BL is being released every week now, and popular BLs like Revenged…
They are not getting banned? As in they have been able to film and air in the mainland after their bl was aired? I see (on mdl) that Zi Yu had something come out in oct of last year where he was a main character but did it actually air? Why are there no reviews?
