i feel like Gav has abandonment issues? bc of his parents, grandmother, terrence cheating, and now Cairo leaving/going far away. I get to understand where he's coming from and why he's OVERLY jealous

i don't like jealousy arcs too but this was kinda understandable for me. Especially since he has only Pearl (who is now busy) and Cairo (who is about to leave) in his life. He’s too scared and feel very threatened.
