Title Glass Heart
I don't necessarily think Sho is in love with Naoki but I do think the romance between Akane and Naoki is implausible…
I fully agree on the possibility that Naoki is neurodivergent, and perhaps for this reason I would have preferred his love interest to have characteristics more similar to those of Sho (in the series, it seems clear to me that the guitarist is the more attentive and accustomed to Naoki's needs). If I had to imagine Akane and Naoki living together, I can't see them surviving given the whole situation.

Title Glass Heart Spoiler
I need some feedback (help :”))
I've watched Glass Heart up to episode nine and I'm a little confused (and somewhat bitter). I'm trying to figure out if I'm the only one who has a problem with the relationship between Naoki and Akane.

I can't see these two characters involved in a romantic relationship (especially if we mean it in the “conventional” sense).
Naoki comes across as an atypical, non-conformist person, a man willing to do anything for his passion (we could say that music is the very essence of Naoki's life).

Throughout the series, Naoki's behavior has been ambiguous with various characters, with his genuinely naive and somewhat seductive manner, but there has always been something unconscious about him. This, together with his rejection of Akane in the early episodes—using his absolute devotion to music as an explanation—seemed to me a clear sign of a personality uninterested in love as a romantic relationship (despite the explicit interest of several people, which makes some form of aromanticism even more plausible).

This, together with Akane's type of love, which in my opinion is much closer to something platonic and infinite admiration rather than romantic love, makes it difficult for me to see and, above all, believe in their romantic bond.
I would have preferred Naoki to remain “free,” surrounded by bonds that may be abstract, ambiguous, and platonic, but real and consistent with his personality.
I find a huge problem especially in the kiss and the “climax” of the ninth episode, especially considering the focus on the relationship between Naoki and Takaoka in episodes 8 and 9, which in my opinion is not negligible.

We go from the possibility of seeing Naoki and Akane together (up to episode 4) to the idea of a possible relationship between Akane and Sakamoto, with ambiguous undertones regarding Naoki and Takaoka (the guitarist is, in my opinion, clearly in love with Fujitani).

I have a lot to say, but I think I've gone on long enough. I need to understand if I'm the only one who sees these “problems,” especially to understand if I'm biased. I started the series already with certain ideas about the relationship between Fujitani and Takaoka... I don't want to be misinterpreting the series for this reason.
