Absolutely agree. If you rewatch the ending though, we truly didn’t get a HEA but a more realistic I don’t know if we’ll work out but let’s try.

Jira has been attracted to Koh from the 1st meeting, so much so that it triggered his creativity and drawing. Pheem represents the "good" guy that Jira should like, but Jira doesn't feel the emotional "click" with him. This is partly because Pheem is actually a playboy and everything his done is just to get into Jira's pants; he wasn't his true self until the rage room . Even in the rage room it wasn't so much about how he felt about Jira, but how it's a competition against Koh.
