Her obsession with her father is weird. I though she would fight for her son. But instead she's like whatever, daddy has priority. Also they are really dragging out the main plot.
The first two episodes whee too good to be true I guess. I hoped they would be a bit more creative. But nope. They went with the cliched, ML has to be cruel to the FL now to develop a deeper relationship, thing.
Episodes three and four were generic rom-com slop imo. I've started fast-forwarding in episode four.
I guess they went with the "living well is the best revenge" theme. It doesn't feel very satisfying though.
Her father gave up his title/career. How is that in any way comparable to what the FL and her mother went through? And now she is also seemingly friendly with the woman who treated her like shit.
A knight in shining armor the damsel didn't ask for.
I really dislike the ML. Forces himself into FL's life, meddles with her job, violates her personal space, doesn't give a damn that he is making her uncomfortable. All that because they hung around as children and she confessed that she liked him once? Thinks that he can and has the right to fix her? Doesn't ask for her consent. What an A-hole.
The lawyer on the other side treats her with respect, like an actual adult. I wish she would end up with him. It's not gonna happen of course, sigh.
All of the issues could have been avoided if she just laid low in some apartment in another big city, where no one gives a damn about their neighbor. She could order food and necessities online or per phone, have them delivered.
Unless they wanted her to be found. That would be an interesting plot twist.
No way in hell would a fifty years old man behave like a romantically challenged teenager, unless he has no relationship experience whatsoever.
The ML here has cringe "How do you do, fellow kids?" vibes, given his mannerisms and choice of clothing.
I guess the writer did it for the comedy. But it makes the ML look bad (in my eyes).
And they'll eventually end up as a couple? WTF?

And then you have employees playing detective at work and even getting access to CCTV footage.
