I just had to laugh with that final episode because I really did not think it could get worse but it did.
Yeah. I guess this should would sit at 7.9 or something if the ML was different. I know he is a beloved "oppa" here on MDL who always gets rated 10/10 for whatever he does. That he would do "that" to "that" specific person, in the middle of seoul, and they turned out to share "that past" together, etc... ugh. I swear this show was being written & new eps filmed super fast while it was airing its first eps. No way the writer had the complete story done from the start to come up with all those silly plot twists and situations.
Is the ending decent? I've been wanting to give this a try because I've heard it's a good underrated watch, but…
Everything is satisfying, they even have a surprising plot twist in the last episode you never could have guessed. You will feel very satisfied with the ending.
If you are thirsty for a really well written thriller this is the one. Recommend to all your friends!!! I would easily call it a masterpiece and I don't say that often.
Really surprised by the 9.1 for this one. Acting was fine but the story felt so forced with a bunch of conventional writing/situations/cliches. When you thought they couldnt come up with a more extremely conventional (silly) plot twist, they somehow managed to do it. I know its fiction and it doesn't need to be the best show ever but for a 9.1 the writing was really poor. And that last episode... Almost as bad as God's Gift, just so criminally bad. I couldn't stop falling asleep during it. 6/10.
This movie is far from being as bad as the people here on MDL make it out to be. If you have nothing to watch with your gf or bf you will have a fun time with this movie that really brings you on a trip you never could have guessed. 8/10 recommend!
am I the only one who loved the kid scenes of the first episodes?? why so much hate?
Millions of people watched and loved it, dont care about a vocal minority. Its an amazing masterpiece. I understand the tiktok kids who already have destroyed their dopamine system/attention span system find it "boring". But its not its truly a wonderful piece of work. I am still thinking, remembering about it daily. Enjoy every second!
Am I the only one who, when I think back about this drama feel some kind of nostalgia? Even if I didn't experience the life the characters did, just for some reason. Especially Kim Gun Woo's characters life during the university days. Damn this drama has such a feeling of nostalgia. Even from the part with the kids. Ah... I recently sometimes get into some kind of eun jung & san yeon and sang Hak nostalgia. That is how well this drama was made and hooked me and many other viewers. This drama is nothing like 2521 but if you like the feeling that drama gives you when you now remember about it, then this drama will do something similar to you.
And hell they really didn't hold back with how it was shown in the end. Ah now im starting to think about their fates again, how everything started from a sticker... 😭 People who call this slow paced or "boring". are people I cant become friends with.
Damn gotta rewatch it soon, or maybe should wait a bit longer.
