WTH DID I JUST WATCH? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Ran Out of Tissues Drama šŸ’šŸ’šŸ’

From Ep. 1 to 40 ... OUTSTANDING... EXQUISITE & SO MUCH MORE
Just to start:
*Vibrant background scenes & Costumes Designs Outdo other costumes dramas I watched*
*Magnetic Different Character Storylines
*The simple touches of comedy that blends in.
*Subtle hints of teachings of life through wisdom, such as:
#1 Don't be Obsessed #2 Don't Torment Yourself #3 Don't Force Things #4 Don't be Pretentious šŸ”„ Live Your Life Well!

Each different Character Storyline who was connected to our Main Leads, deserves 10 Stars.
The Fox & Kunlun Story
Loss Memory of Fan Yue
Mu Jiu Fox Story (tissues ran out.. had to get another box) I want one of the toy foxes 🦊
Understanding the back story of the Stone Clan & Qi Feng (brother of Fan Yue)
There is more that brings the feelings for each character that is represented in this drama!

Although there is so much to watch about each character, it all connected to Bai Shuo's journey to become Lunar Lord Xing.
There are many dramas that the storyline doesn't seem to connect & I get lost.... but this drama made each episode interesting & eye catching.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of actress Bai Lu....... I don't know why & that's the most irritating feeling for me. HOWEVER, she was a force in this drama with her character & she definitely pulled me in this drama whole heartily. Whereas in *Till the End of the Moon* .. I ended up dropping it halfway because I couldn't connect to not one of the characters or the storyline.
The Leading Male Actor Ao Rui Peng (OMG... he had šŸ”„ & allowed me to appreciate someone I wasn't quite familiar with)
All the rest of the cast... I have to say deserve so much recognition... they did amazing.

Of Course... give credit where credit is due: Original Creator: Xing Ling, Screen Writer: Yan Mo Yi, Directors: Chu Yui Bun. & Gu Zhi Wei - BRAVO!!! šŸ‘šŸŒ¹
BUT... I have to give a Standing Ovation to TWO incredible people that I personally felt made this drama FIRE!
#1: Costume Designer: Yi Xiao Ya šŸ‘šŸŒ¹
#2: Art Director: Liu Shi Yun šŸ‘šŸŒ¹

This was and will be a POWERFUL Drama that I will definitely go back and watch again and again. šŸ”„

Loved this Drama... and Kim Hyun Joong .... So Happy he is back, because he did an AMAZING job. The leading lady, lacks talent and didn't really compliment the young actor that deserves so much recognition & respect for his talent, lead actor Kim Hyun Joong. Not having a better known actress who knows how to bring out her acting ability would of been a much better fit for Kim Hyun Joong and the drama story line as well. However, Kudos to the supporting casts... they did a great job. I recommend this drama to those who love the unknown & fans of Kim Hyun Joong. The reason only rating this a 9.5 is due to the lack of acting skills from the lead actress. Welcome Back Kim Hyun Joong... No matter what is said, or printed. You have my respect and admiration for you God given talent. Your personal life is none of anyone's business but your own. God Bless you and your future!!!

Cute Drama

Just completed this cute drama
Personally, rated it 8/10
I have to admit that I became more bias toward the character Jiang Ru (Finn Han) the cousin. OMG, I am so amazed how much this young actor has grown since I first saw him in *Princess Silver*, and several other dramas since then. He's facial expressions are perfection. He has had me laughing when it counted. Great young actor... still shocked how old I'm getting & how quickly time flies.

NOW: Unfortunately, the only reason I couldn't give this a score above an 8/10 is this is one of the rare occasions that I just couldn't see or feel the chemistry with the two main leads. I can see that the director was trying to get the connection, but I just didn't feel it. Maybe others could.
Now, I could feel more of a chemistry between the Nie Xi Guang & Zhuang Xu throughout the drama. The pull was more intense, which was excellent chemistry.
Throughout the time that the Main ML and FL got together as boss and subordinate and until the end, I just still couldn't connect the two in a romantic chemistry.

However, I do rate the Script writing 8/10 (Cute Drama)
The Chemistry Level for the Main Leads 5/10
(Only because it felt more like brother & sister relationship or Close friends)
Recommendation Level 7/10 (It's truly up to what type of flavors interest the viewer)
Re-watch value: Highly unlikely
Total Personal Rating 8/10

***NOTE*** The Soundtrack for this drama hit a 10 scale. Great matching

J-Drama ***Beyond Goodbye***: Excellent Heart Shaker

J-Drama featuring Life & Romance, always has me looking ways to stitch up my heart while drying my tears. Just as my heart is stitched & tears dried.... they push above the limit... like this "Beyond Goodbye"!!!
I strongly feel that this drama is completely underrated... but then again that's my personal opinion.
The storyline did its job with tugging at the heart strings & the leading casts did an amazing job pulling me into their feelings that their character felt.
I rated this a 9.5/10 due to .. 2 things: in my personal opinion, I felt that some of the wife's actions was totally unnecessary. Especially when she was putting to much fault .. where fault didn't belong.
the 2nd thing, was the ending ... in my opinion, Saeko didn't owe anything to this woman... since it was the husbands' decision on how he felt would be best to handle the situation he was facing with his life ending. The one important person he wanted to see before he left this earth... was someone who made him feel alive through a heart of her lover. Not only that, the wife from the beginning she didn't want him to tell her anything about what he found out regarding the donor. So, if she needs to blame anyone.. she needs to look in the mirror & realize that she shut her husband out in a time he felt confused & needed her to listen and understand what he is going through & sacrifice a bit of her feelings to help him through his turmoil. I think that angered me the most about the wife.. is she apologized to him and he just let her without truly telling her that her refusing his feelings was painful. (If you can't have an open discussion with the person you say you love deeply or have restrictions of what you ...YOU... want to hear, then your love is bogus.. Period!) So... NO... Saeko didn't need to apologize to her for Miki husbands' decisions. The ending for Saeko getting a text to apple pick just dropped the rating .5, because it was not necessary at all... I saw & felt no point in it.
I just have one critique ... my personal choice would have been to end the drama where she sees the coffee trees beans that Yusuke planted have grown. That would have been a powerful ending of a heartfelt story.

POWERFUL!!!

It's been a good minute since I ventured to watch a K-Historical drama. However, where do I start with this Incredible drama?
This was unique in so many ways. The many dramas I've watched whether Chinese or Korean historical dramas .. it was always expected for the queen to be vindictive and the dowager on the same path.
This was pretty expected when it came to certain plots between the dowager and queen .. HOWEVER, the maturity on how these two Bulls came at each other head on ... was nothing to trifle at.
The actress who played the Queen Kim Hye Soo, definitely showed us her worth as a gold star actress among the Veteran cast such as; Kim Hae Sook; Kim Eui Sung; Jang Hyun Sung and of course Choi Won Young.
Let's not forget the younger cast members ... who by all means deserved their gold star with their performances.
This drama was not only refreshing, but definitely left an impression of admiration for what the queen accomplished throughout.
I think what touched my heart most, was .. this was a Queen who not just embraced her own children, but also the other princes and their mothers (aka concubines). She taught and punished with a firm hand, but not allowing these concubines or their sons lose face.
Incredible and out of the box, a character that we don't expect for a Queen to do.
I know that this will be a drama I'll go back to watch. I can't remember the last K-historical drama that entertained me enough to keep my full attention (other than Empress Ki).

Watch This Outside The Box ... Using the Probability this is Happening NOW... Somewhere.

In my opinion this drama was a way to give a bit of an insight of How powerful the law is ... for someone that will take advantage of it. Believe me... it's happening in RL. Those who know the law will take advantage of it and know the corrupt judges, that end up destroying the rights of not only the women, but they will take from the children educational learning, Senior citizens Health Care & financial support after working for years and having that money put away from said government so they can retire with knowing they have some financial support. OR... Even Want to Take Away from the Military Vets Health Care that fought for our Freedom, who are suffering from PTSD, Physical Health Issue. They will seek to abolish the rights of voters, or those who are different than them and or just because they don't like it!!!! WHY and HOW can they do all this???? Because they understand the law and what they can get away with OR they will find the means to change the law so they CAN DICTATE AND HAVE THEIR PEOPLE FOLLOW A FACIST RULE!!! Yet they will look straight into your face or in the camera ... and LIE to say that they are NOT doing this, even though the proof is there.
It's a OUTSIDE THE BOX DRAMA... A drama that you don't think something like this is possible... but it definitely is.
All this can start from corrupt Judges that are Greedy & are sucking on the Richest of the Riches Teets.
So, yes... I understand the concept of what was being expressed.
The Fortunate thing in this drama... is there are Honest Judges that will not go against their oath ... no matter what is in front of them. They won't use that power they were trusted in by the people to get favors from others.

*I didn't focus on the OST or if there was one. I was more focused on the storyline.
*This is really not a drama that I would go out of my way to re-watch, but it may be for others.

I want to play this game .... Sweet Sweet Sweet!!!

I'm a fan of drama's like these... although there was only 1 that was like this... not similar ... however. Have to admit .. a better story line. That's ok... it's been years since Love O2O.
It's nice to see how these type of games bring in different aspects of understanding among the older generation and the difference of stereotyping.
There was a few wake-up calls to those who assume you have to understand the game in order to be involved with someone who plays it. It was a pleasant surprise that there was a bit of education regarding that type of stereotype. Also letting those crazy fans out there with a few brain cells know that their actions are not only uncalled for ... but to focus on their own life before trying to become dictators of someone's life you have no rights too.

I have no idea what and where this drama took me :((

Oh my, just finished watching the drama "4 Minutes," and I am quite conflicted. While it certainly includes a lot of mature content and violence, the storyline left me completely confused.

The plot started out interesting, but it quickly became difficult to follow. I couldn't tell if the show was exploring a parallel world or different timelines; for instance, a character would be deceased in one frame and then the same character is suddenly saved in another by someone. Even rewinding didn't help clarify the direction of the story for me. A waste of my viewer time, in my personal opinion.

(On a personal side note, I’ve been thinking about how dramas often portray smoking as cool or intimidating. I am incredibly grateful I stopped when I did, as continuing felt like playing Russian roulette with my health. Why companies, whether through the entertainment, other business continue to push smoking as being distinguish looking or sexy is beyond my intelligence of living a long life. Not as attractive anymore, it's just a foolish tool.)

Back to this very confusing drama, unfortunately I cannot recommend it. While the actors performed the "spicier" scenes well, the narrative felt aimless. I won't be rewatching this one, and I’d only suggest it to someone interested purely in the mature themes rather than a coherent plot.
I gave it 2 stars because I know how hard everyone had to work on this. If this was rewritten with more clarity ... I think it would be a great drama.

Whose Theory of Love is this?

Where do I begin? This drama had me holding *Third* in a warm embrace each time I felt his heart hurt & saw his tears fall (I cried with him). Unrequited love is sometimes a hard battle to walk away from, especially when it's with someone that you've wrapped your heart around completely.
Third is a character that wears his heart on his sleeve & his devotion is unmeasurable... yet I just wanted to shake him at times and tell him that *Khai* isn't worth his precious tears. His heart deserved to be warmed by a love that someone could not stop embracingĀ him with.Ā
I was happy to see him breaking away from *Khai*, because the toxicityĀ was tearing *Third* apart emotionally. What *Khai* said to him when they were both yelling at each other was totally unforgivable. Yet, that's not how *Thirds* heart works. A simple I'm sorry from *Khai* was enough... which had me furious that *Khai got off that easily. Then, what *Khai did to Third in the bathroom, while saying some girl's name, made me sick... but not surprising. I couldn't imagine how *Third endured that attack (It was an attack... in my personal opinion). However, once again... Third says nothing... NOTHING to Khai so he can own up to his actions.Ā As the drama continued... It's apparent that this path that *Khai has to endure is a long distance to find his way to *Third.Ā
Understanding what Love is... can't be found in drama's, movies, books or advice by others that are in love. In my opinion, I felt Khai didn't really love himself... but lost in a world that had to include only him & Third, while finding relief in the women he so-called dated.
The friendship with Third, was more than he knew. How can heĀ beĀ into a man when heĀ loves being with a woman? Yet... why couldn't he commit to just 1 woman, but kept Third so close?Ā When watching this drama .. you start to see the cracks in Khai's connection with Third. It's obvious how Third feels from beginning to end... but Khai is the one you can see his layers starting to drop.
Although this drama got tedious with the relationship with Khai & Third. It was worth the watch. Love is different for each of us... a journey that has a different meaning .. but also carries the Warmth of Trust that only you alone can understand. Khai and Third worked through an emotional journey of understanding the Love that only they can embrace.
My personal rating on this: 7/10 .. I felt it dragged too much, but the storyline was good. Wasn't too sure about the pairing & chemistry was missing. I'm not going to recommend this, but if you do watch it... enjoy.

Why I rated this 8/10

*Fourever You*
I've noticed that the #1 thing with BL dramas shipping depends strongly on the chemistry that the main & 2nd leads have with each other. For instance Zee & NuNew, Nat & Max or Joong & Dunk, just to name a few outstanding main BL leads. Whether they are really part of the LGBTQ+ community or not... the character they are portraying is & every emotion has to radiate through each heart of the viewer of a love connection between 1 to the other. These young actors that I've mentioned above have that spark of magic that can pull their viewer into a relationship that is luscious.
Watching this recommended drama (Fourever You), I have to admit was cute, but I feel that the pairing was disconnected. The main couple Hill & Easter (Ter) relationship connection was blah... it felt more like 2 friends that are trying their best to connect to the character... but just can't bring themselves to embrace it... especially Hill (or the actor Pond). The disconnect was so out there... and as each episode went by... I still felt that connection was just impersonable, instead of personable. The young actor playing Ter (Earth) I just felt that was a bit over the top with trying to be bashful & his movements were a bit over the top silly (He's supposed to be the age of a college student, not a 10-year-old child in grade school). Even with his relationship with his friends... he talks and acts like a 10-year-old child who is giddy, instead of an 18-, 19- or 20-year-old young MAN. WHY?
Now, I don't know if this is the fault of the director... but I felt either the entertainment company that picked the director dropped the ball.... or ... if it wasn't the director .. The young actor Earth just didn't fit the criteria of the character & lost his way from start to finish. I thought maybe things would pick up once Ker agreed to be the BF of Hill, but instead their storyline just got worse & the connection went from blah to omg!
Now on to the 2nd couple: Johan & North... They were definitely a match. I can feel a spark & connection; it made me focus more on their relationship then the Main leads. The spark in Johan's eyes when he first saw North when he opened the door ... brough goose bumps and a smile. That's a winning pair. The planning to get together was a bit out of the ordinary... but it worked. Johan had his own style to live free in North's thoughts. These two actors understood what was expected of their character & handled it with the finesse of young college students' personalities. By the time I reached Episode 14... I knew that the only reason I would finish this drama was because of Johan & North's pairing & storyline. As episode 16 came into closing up the ending of this drama... in my personal opinion when North and his classmate regarding a survey about Rich & Poor people that his classmate was doing is the most interesting conversation. North's answers regarding some of the questions, has me realizing that this young man has wisdom for such a young age. It brings questions of why he feels like he does... with the maturity of an elder? This is where the respect & admiration Johan found with North. Johan to reflect on his outlook with his life was a starting point in changing. This conversation had such an impact with me, that I literally went back to listen to their conversation again. It just showed how the writer's thoughts are to enlighten not only Johan who was hearing this conversation, but also the viewers of all ages to understand that even though you're rich or come from a rich family... it doesn't mean you can live life easily, it takes skills also & knowledge to not lose what you accomplished to be financially well off. Loved this conversation... it was a 10star PowerPoint. It shows that we all have to prove our worth to ourselves, no matter whether you're rich or poor.
I was glad that I decided to continue to watch this drama, at least because of North & Johan... They were the highlight of this drama that made it all worthwhile to finish it. Which is why the rating was 8/10
***Now I'm anxiously waiting to see what is going on with Fah & Phoon 😁***

Excellent Drama .......... Highly Recommended

OMG.. have you ever watched a bit of a drama .. then dropped it because it just wasn't making you fixated enough on it???
What a big mistake I made when I first tried to watch this once it released.
The drama has the intensity of life that tends to be overlooked by so many. It's a kind of drama that will hit you right where it counts.
To see, how certain occupations and the heartbreaking tragedies hits not just families, but the comrades they fight next to.. especially when you see them doing it for the lives of many.
Even during Mother Nature's wrath .. is a time when the citizens not only make sure their family is protected but use their cell phones to protect those who are still facing the wrath of Mother Nature with no protection. Guiding those of dangers in certain places that they should avoid.
I am so glad that I decided to watch this drama again. It taught me that .. if you can't be out there helping others ... there are other ways that will allow you to reach out to those who don't have the protection & safety of being inside their home or safely inside.
It's not just a community... but a country who cares, fights, protects & respects their own.

They Worked Hard & Did an Amazing Job - A MUST SEE DRAMA!

OMG.... To begin with.. I was fully expecting to drop this drama. Only because I felt that this type of drama with KPop idols doing a Kpop story was not going to keep me interested.... BOY HOW WRONG I WAS!!! However, I won't go into any of the drama ... I think it would be best for you to watch it to get the full impact.
First lets look at the casting: What KPop groups are here
A. U-Kiss Lee Jun Young who is your leading male
B. Ateez Jeong Yun Ho who is 2ML
C. SF9 Chani 3rd ML
It doesn't end there... there are several other 3 other Ateez members, SF9 and Boys Republic.
I have to express highly how INCREDIBLE these young men did with there characters, and how extremely well their acting is. I don't know if it's because they are so familiar with how KPop idols deal on a daily basis... so it was easy for them to relate to their characters. However... they still deserve a Standing Ovation. These young men are from different entertainment companies ... and unlike some of their fandom, they worked closely together and respected & worked hard together to make all this happen.
I've only heard of 2 of these groups (Ateez & SF9), not a fan of their music.. however I'm definitely a fan of their acting .
As for the young ladies... the leading lady is only actress, wasn't in music. Park Ji Yeon (LiMa) apparently has plenty of experience in the music field.
Also for Im Na Young the pretty (tea party) .. believe it or not, she's known as a rapper.
Then we have Kim Min Seo (RiAh) the tough one. Who has had musical experience.
All in all.... BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO for doing such an Excellent Job with all the characters.

A Hidden Gem from 2023/2024

Last Twilight - (A Hidden Gem drama)
Featuring JimmySea
Chemistry šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„ Can I wrap this relationship up with pretty wrapping paper & exquisite bow & take it home with me?
Favorite Line: "Will You Be My Once Again?"

A Beautiful & Heartwarming drama. "Last Twilight." This series was not a recommendation, but a drama that just popped up while searching for something to watch... and I am grateful to have discovered this. The storyline is compelling, and I was deeply impressed by how the lead actors portrayed their characters with such sincerity and depth.

Jimmy Jitaraphol Potiwihok and Sea Tawinan Anukoolprasert are outstanding. This was my first time seeing them in any other dramas. Their ability to make the relationship between Day and Mhok feel so believable is a testament to their talent. In particular, Sea’s portrayal of Day felt effortless; his body language and expressions perfectly captured the frustrations and nuances of navigating life with a visual impairment.

I also want to commend the writers, Bee Pongsate Lucksameepong and Best Kittisak Kongka, for such a beautiful screenplay. The story handles complex themes of stereotyping, acceptance, and personal hurdles with great sensitivity. The emotional journey Day and Mhok travel together—learning to accept life’s ups and downs—is truly indelible.

Furthermore, the direction and cinematography are exceptional. The mountain locations were breathtaking and provided a perfect backdrop for the story’s more reflective moments.

"Last Twilight" is a 10-star production that I look forward to rewatching. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a meaningful work of art.

A pairing lost

This is going to be a short and quick review on the drama "Venus in the Sky."

While I was a bit unsure at first, I decided to stick with it past the third episode to see where things went! Although the "spicy" scenes certainly lived up to the hype, I felt the chemistry between Tod and Cheque took a while to find its footing. I did find myself wishing the writing had been a bit gentler with Venus's character, as his reactions to Sky felt quite intense at times.

I think the story would have been even more enjoyable if it were a bit more concise. Focusing more on the main couple and streamlining some of the side stories could have really helped the pacing! I ended up skipping ahead a bit toward the end just to see our leads reach their resolution.

I've researched to see if Tod Panapong Khaisang & Cheque Wacharawee Kaewpoolsri will be making other dramas as a pair, because honestly.. they do have fresh chemistry.
Unfortunately, I found that Cheque left his agency & Tod is coming up with a drama, but Cheque is NOT his ship. I wish them the best in life & hope that wherever their path leads them, they find health, happiness & peace of mind.

An upbeat drama to watch when need laughter in your day

I just finished watching this drama and wanted to share my thoughts.
At first, I had to check MDL to confirm the genre because I wasn't sure if it was meant to be a comedy or if it just had a bad script. Thankfully, it is a comedy!

The series is incredibly over-the-top with everything. For instance, I couldn't stop laughing at the bathtub placed in a shallow wading pool in the first episode. The dynamic between the characters is also entertaining; Peach acts as the voice of common sense, while Thee is an unoriginal "drama king."

Overall, it’s a great show if you need a happy pick-me-up, though I likely wouldn't add it to my re-watch list.
I’d give it a personal rating of 7/10.
While the pairing was good, I felt the intimate connection fell a bit short as they got closer, perhaps due to the rom-com format.

My favorite part was the final episode where Pond sings; his vocals are beautiful. I’ve actually been looking up his and Phuwin’s music on YouTube to add to my playlist.
