I'm thinking she desperately tries to gain some control back. She almost d**d during the space walk, her bf is cheating, the tourist is breaking rules left and right (and also almost d**d trying to save her), now she found out that the crew is drinking... She lost control over her private AND professional life.
It started okay..but it's too dragging. Her character is so dumb, actually I am okay with SFL
ML isn't the smartest either. How is he married to this woman for ages and doesn't even know what she looks like? In this day and age?? He could look her up in five seconds.
For me the story is all over the place and the characters are not developed enough. Feels like in the beginning they tried to sell this as somewhat scientifically accurate but then took a turn to one of those "Stop looking for logic, just enjoy the ride"- dramas.
The lottery storyline and the way these astronauts (who are supposed to be able to stay cool in the worst of situations btw) go nuts over the ticket gives me sitcom- vibes. The yelling was too much lol
Something more minor but still annoying to me is that Eve got the call from her senior who saw that Eve had called but for some reason didn't notice that she (unwillingly) answered the call.
Also Eve was supposed to be this bad ass strong character but now she seems weak and unsure. Also also ML is so freakin annoying to me. He's a teenage boy in the body of a grown man and he lacks respect for the women in his life. Which makes no sense to me since he was brought up by 3! caring mothers!
That being said I think LMH is doing a great job here. I wouldn't be as annoyed if he wasn't so convincing lol
Ep.19: Why doesn't she want to tell him the truth atp? I feel like she changes her mind twice every episode. Like either tell him who tf you are or leave for good ffs. This is getting hella annoying. It doesn't help either that an episode is like 5 seconds "long" lol
