Well, as CP he seems dignified, quiet and moves stealth-like working outside the palace as we saw in the early episodes. He and the GP seem to be working together as when little boys.

The GP is definitely outside his wheelhouse and in the deep. The Show needs to throw him a life preserver before he drowns.

Yes, I want to know who is MY's mom too ever since the reveal of the QD's sad love story. Particularly since the GI loves her so much.....

I like that Show is fleshing them out. Perhaps they may receive some kind of redemption in the end, not that I would mind except for the murderers of the innocent e.g. child and attempted murder of the king.

My eyes were oogling the "one man's" body too. LOL! We have lots of Grands in this drama that are terrific actors and not just eye candy.

Agreed, risky indeed. We see roles grandparents play in this series and the CP's grandfather left it up to him to deal with the knowledge. He loves his mother and brother so, he will do what is best for his family.

Ep 9 A slave contract for the grand prince. If he accepts the CP role, he's a walking dead man. Was it the CP's grandfather who knew and started the rumor? This is getting interesting with the cliffhanger.

Ep 10. The QD's man took a bullet for her and his body is finely tuned. I still do not trust his love for her entirely still as the jury is still deliberating. What about the wife he married and had a child with? Hm.

I am so encouraged by the grand prince in his pursuits because if he accepts the title with a false stamp, that seems to mean certain death by a thousand cuts. Glad he and MY had a talk. I am rooting for him to live at the end traveling since he is a slave.

The daughter likely has some idea of the poison used and how evil her father is. Her eyes and ears (if he was not whispering) did not lie to her. Treason.

Is the gangster friend who calls MY "eonnie" the same actor from Behind Your Touch?

Oh, yeah that is right. He did falsify the autopsy or tried to cover for someone as told. Why murder him then if he was an obedient servant?
These two lovers joined hands and poisoned the king, framed his wife, deposed the crown prince and killed innocent servants ( I thought CP found out others had been killed per the one maid with the rock note).

Hm. The shaman or whatever has been giving MY's dad counsel that he disregards basically like with his first love. I don't why their stars are crossed like her dad and QD nor why MY has to marry the CP except for dad planning it this way, which is spelling disaster for whomever she marries. Her fate based on blood relations as she does not want to marry. He wants to men in the royal family dead....

Did not notice the young physician being in cahoots, but he was murdered and strung up like a side of meat.

Regardless, the sinister king took pleasure in her humiliation and subjugation. "Kneel". QD and lover seem to be perpetrating the same grievances. MY's dad is awful and I feel for her. Did he ever love her mother? I have to wonder. Putting her in the palace as CPrincess will solve all of "his" problems. Selfish, and entitled to his own happiness at the expense of his only child and others.

ep 8 shows the former king as a nasty, entitle piece of s*. Did she tell her lover that the king came calling? Did her lover know all women are the kings?

Still cannot unsee what they did of the innocent: especially the little girl with the pastries, framing the one young physician and having the CP's eunuch turn on him.

Naw, off with the QD's head and let her lover watch.

Ep 7 I just love that the queen and grand prince are fighting together separately for the king and his older brother against the left minister and evil QD and sycophants. The kingdom is so fragile…poor citizens and peasants.

Ep 8 The grand prince is a cut up. Even if the storyline turns him evil tomorrow, I love him for what he has done in today's episode.

QD's former husband was cruel and indifferent but she and the minister were lovers.

I may have to drop this one so as not to stress myself while watching poor writing keeping this mess going for 15 more episodes involving willful murders in the palace along with the QD's evil lover, eunuchs and maids. Adding to this melodrama, I hate it when Dramas dumb down the FL after presenting her so capable.

This needs to be 8-10 episodes based on the storyline and the fact the king and both his sons are useless power tools.

The show made the FL this capable woman and then dumbed her down. We are expected to believe sh does not hear gossip from the folks she is helps? None from the courtesans? Stop it, show..

I refuse to give the QD any sympathy for murdering innocent servants or people in the kingdom who worked in the palace. Her lover can be caned 100 times and then hanged.

Scholars are human and not all are selfless and addle brained. Just because the storyline does not show the CP studying or with any agendas of his own, he knows something of their history, laws and that he needs to stop his murdering, homicidal GM aka QD.

Yes, CPs are scholars taught and trained in the palace by the best men and practitioners.

The CPs are a students of their history, etc. and taught by the best in the palace. So yeah, they are scholars too. He would not know about others outside the palace unless he escaped and hung around them, but inside the palace they would be educated, tested and approved by their educators..

Hm. If the CP, who is supposedly a scholar, does not smarting up after ep 4, this may be a drop. These scholars are dense in worldly affairs so how can Cps govern a nation and its people?

Not knowing the laws but the QD is asking a lot from the Q. The QD is a murderer.
Goodness! Why anyone would fall her words and tears is beyond belief. "I'm just killing folks so my lover and I can live'". Why not accept being deposed and removed from the land where her lover can follow after so many days?
