Someone posted this hours ago - hopefully it will help you:"wei yan, tutor li, xie linshan (xz dad), and grand…
Thank you! So Wei Yan is actually not the culprit? Tutor Li is the culprit. Why did he try to kill Xie Zheng though? Why not just tell the whole story to Xie Zheng? Wei Yan was not the one who killed Xie Linshan. Instead of telling Xie Zheng the truth, Wei Yan decided to kill all involved subordinates and kill Xie Zheng. What's in it for Wei Yan to cover the truth?
I am super late in asking this, but can someone explain the difference between a Marquis and a General? I am doing…
I believe Marquis is a nobility title, while general is rank in the army. Marquis nobility is one rank lower than a Duke - Hou vs Gong. Marquis title is inherited, whereas general is gained solely by military merit.
EP27: ARGH!!! FCY face here is sooo cute and the way XZ hold her face to wipe her tears. The way XZ explains himself…
I think it was subtly explained in the film. Other than being afraid of losing FCY, XZ didnt want bad ppl (weiyan and suis) to know FCY is his weak spot. He wants to keep FCY safe. The upper army can keep secret and knows the story. The lower army only knows Fcy found her husband and doesnt know Marquis Wuan's face.
Yes. I ♥️ her, but I was shocked when she did the hostage thing & drugged him. Both incidents could have…
FCY background is uneducated, compassionate and driven by emotion. She is also used to take the lead to survive with her family. When she took the hostage SYQ, she was driven by emotion and tried to solve the army's issues - which is wrong because the army has rules. But then again, she didnt know better. It is her character, uneducated but moves with emotion and compassion. Once she got reprimanded, she admitted her mistake and wanted to learn the army rules. When the battle is iminent, she once again made a decision based on who she is. From her POV, YanZheng is a nobody, his presence in the army does not make a difference. She also said she is better off than his injured husband to go to battle. She drugged YanZheng because she knows YanZheng would never allow her to go to battle in his stead. She is a bit narrowminded, yes, but it is her character. So I think the chains of events and decision is showing her true to her character.
In ep25 when fake marquis Xie Jiu was about to deliver the punishment, he said "this is not how we agreed it would go". What did XZ and the subordinates agree upon? How was it supposed to pan out? I just cant think of what they agreed upon, XZ couldnt possibly let FCY to bear the strokes as per the military rule.
First time in a while that i watch a drama at normal speed, not 1.25x speed. Some scenes are so captivating, I kept rewinding the scenes for 5 times before moving on.
I'm just up to episode6, but How do Yunweishan and Shangguanqian survive the fortnight poison in the gong residence? Hasnt it been more than 2 weeks for them without the antidote???
When and why did LiXun become close with HouNing? I thought they met in prison, but as to how they become close was never told. Someone enlighten me please!
Why would QS lie about having a 2.5 yo kid? Isnt lying about having a husband enough for her career? Especially when she broke up with her fiance only 2 years ago and her ex fiance is also working as a lawyer. Isnt the lie about having a kid just making her digging her own grave?
Ep17 YH was giving open-arms gesture to QS when they left QS' parents house? Is he expecting QS to jump to his arms? It is cute, but I cant figure out what YH was actually thinking/expecting?
To be fairly honest, the 3 first episodes are a mess (Just watch AvenueX Youtube review on it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY4lDiNt6JE…
I dont agree with some points by avenueX. She said about it not making sense (no time) for PXR to change makeup and hairdo to pose as the princess before burning herself - the makeup and hairdo of PXR didnt change, she only swapped clothes with the princess. Also, when the guards went in to check on the jailed proncess, there was no mention/indication that Junyingwen and zhenzhen noticed the guards and in a rush to get out becoz they heard the guards closingi in on them so definitely possible that there is ample amount of time for zhenzhen to swap clothes with princess. I actually appreciate the fast paced earlier episodes, so that i can see the main arc right away without wasting 10 episodes or so for background story.

It's such a fun episode. The ppl around XieZheng are all so comical. Especially gongsun and XieWu.

Ep16: What is the yellow box that Yang Hua gave Qin Shi?
Also what was Qin Shi's message saying?
I watched to ep42 and now i cant continue.
Please help.
Wasnt NYZ helping them when lord cheng entered the capital city?
