What about the hypnosis is inaccurate? Curious to hear a professional point of view!
I'm just curious on what basis they're judging the accuracy of the drama's portrayal of hypnosis therapy. If they're in the field of psychiatry or psychology themselves, or have some personal experience with actual hypnosis therapy, then I may take their opinion into account. Otherwise they're a layperson, in which case their opinion on accuracy is probably only a little better than a blind person's opinion on the color orange. Reliability of source material is important when we're making our own opinions.

I would say most imperial families in dramas have more than one prince, so I'm not sure this qualifies as a spoiler, especially since there are already some areas where it's very clear the drama has diverged from the book, but sure. Happy to tag.
Wonderful to hear your worries are assuaged! I think MDL depends on members (not staff) to update pages, though.…
Thanks, based on the article, I've submitted a request to remove Rao Jun as screenwriter and add Li Hong Yu as a director and Xie Ying as a producer. The other people listed don't seem to exist on MDL (I suspect Xie Ying only exists because she also worked on Word of Honor, which seems to have a fairly complete page).
In the BTS there's a little boy, initially people said he was Wen Shuo but the credits above have someone else…
Agree with Titania. The Thirteenth Prince, Han Yun, is the only person in the book under age 10 who would be well dressed enough to be mistaken for Wen Shuo. I imagine there are also flashback scenes though, in which case we might see some of the adult characters as children.

Wonderful to hear your worries are assuaged! I think MDL depends on members (not staff) to update pages, though. Maybe you could submit an edit plus the sources to MDL staff for updating? Or if you can point me to the sources, I can do it (basically, misinformation is anathema to me).
I was recently on an actor's page where none of his movies after 2018 had been added, including an internationally released movie where he plays the main villain. If the staff aren't even adding Marvel movies, I doubt this is on their radar.
I have said this before but I'll say it again, if Rao Jun ruins this one, I am throwing hands.
At the very least, Gong Jun has said that he thinks it's a good script. He's also said that at points where he thought Han Ye was acting out of character, he has discussed with the screenwriter and has gotten things changed. From his description of the scene in question, I agree with Gong Jun that Han Ye was originally written out of character there, and I also think his thoughts on how Han Ye should have responded instead were spot on to book Han Ye's character. So, I believe that Han Ye at least should be fairly close to what we expect to see. If other actors and actresses have the same level of understanding of their characters and advocate for them, I think things will go well. The director also did Word of Honor, so I don't think he'd have issues straying from the script when needed.
This is a bit embarrassing. Our FL notices that something is wrong only after SML kidnaps and rapes her. Student…
(1) Please mark as a spoiler. (2) Please define "rape." There's a spectrum these days, with the Me Too movement. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would be off-put by sexual abuse or violence in a drama, even though (or maybe because?) it is a common phenomenon in real life.
This drama already broadcasted one month ego.in one month 10 episodes complete.what a joke.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Michiru There's no need to respond further to Debarati1983, it's clearly upsetting you. If this person doesn't like the drama and isn't watching it, why would they keep coming on this page to see what the comments are? There's an obvious answer. People who can only feel good about themselves and the things they like by bringing down others--ironically, Dream Garden's cases cover people like this.
@Debarati1983 If you don't like this drama, please leave it a rating and specifically comment on the reasons why you're rating as such. As with most things, if all you say is, "I don't like it," no one will know what to make of it. When we give feedback for others, being specific is helpful. People may decide whether to watch or not based on comments, and all we have so far is basically, "I don't like it. Yes, some people like it enough for it to be ranked 6th out of the dramas broadcasting on TV right now. But if it's not number 1 or number 2, it's not popular and no one is even talking about this drama." (By the way, I also watch Marcus's rankings, and the rankings are based on, and I quote, "TV ratings and social media discussions in China." One comes to the conclusion that if no one is talking about it, it wouldn't even make the list, yes?)
If you watch the Olympics, do you also feel that whoever gets the bronze is not worth anything? Just 3rd in the entire world, what a useless person? This worldview is not healthy. How can one be first or second at everything in life?
The recent episodes of this drama has been criticized for plagiarism from the scene of cheese in the trap...
When posting rumors, it's helpful to mark them as such. Otherwise, it's easy for people to be misled into thinking what is being posted is fact and not hearsay. When there's an update on this topic, perhaps you can post it here so we can see the outcome?

I'm sure there are people who are waiting for a good number of episodes to come out so they can binge and not have to wait for the new episodes, so I think we won't see the final popularity of a show until it's nearly finished airing. I personally haven't recommended this drama to any of my friends or family since it's not finished airing yet, but I think I will since the topics are thought-provoking and applicable to real life situations. I agree that I think they're broadcasting a bit slowly (for a C-drama; in the USA it's not unusual for even a very popular 10 episode drama to air over 2 months, like Game of Thrones). Despite that it appears to have managed to maintain interest. I think that can only say good things about its content.
Now since you're still on this page, I assume you may be interested in following its progress. Episode 8's case might be of interest to you, if you haven't watched it already. It may give you some insight into how your posts are perceived by others?
Ep 6 , female lead pissed me off at end , i though she was smarter than that. Hopefylly they reddem her in ep…
So, my take on this: - she followed the random PUA student because she wanted to see what they're teaching in the class, and she has enough self-confidence that she believes she won't fall for any tricks. Also they're in a public place with lots of cameras, as she stated, so she felt physically safe. - she didn't tell the ML because he's supposed to be in the PUA class. She knows when it's supposed to end because she signed up for it, after all. ML left the class early. Her phone was on silent so she didn't even realize he'd left the class early and started looking for her. - although she probably didn't need saving, her business partner saved her and requested payment in form of lunch. Given that ML is likely going to be in the class for some time before it finishes and she's literally waiting around, it's not like she's busy. I think most business-minded people who want to continue to have a good business relationship would do the lunch.
To each his own. I much prefer 'The Psychologist' over this drama. I do not like how the Psychological Counselor…
My understanding of the ML's profession is that he's a psychologist who has some skill or specialization in hypnotherapy. I'm actually not sure what kind of education or licensure this entails in China, and what kind of protocols should be in place (in China). Would you be able to speak to this? You seem knowledgeable about the topic.
wondering if anyone can help me clarify something - currently on ep 15 and it seems like every time zzs and wkx…
When WKX fights with ZZS, it's because he's feeling like ZZS is rejecting him and basically is just feeling hurt, so he really holds no grudges against ZZS ("I'm mad at you because I think you don't like me"). When ZZS fights with WKX, the root cause is that he actually cares about WKX. So it's not that they're not great at confrontation or conflict resolution...they actually just can't stay angry with the other person.
I like it so far. The story thus far seems cohesive and believable. The characters are both realistic and likeable, and neither of the leads so far seem to be prone to random fits of stupidity for plot advancement. My number one pet peeve is needless, out-of-character stupidity or obviously unrealistic plot devices. I usually fast forward through parts of most dramas, and so far haven't needed to for this one.
If you like Gong Jun or Qiao Xin, it's a definite yes. If you're not a fan but like more mature dramas with thought-provoking subjects, it's also a yes. If you like depictions of healthy, respectful relationships in contrast with dysfunctional relationships, it's a yes. If you like brainless fluff romance (nothing wrong with that), this may not be your drama.
I especially like how even the "villains" of each case are relatable to real life. Just like in real life, sometimes we're left with only bad options, and can only choose what we feel is the lesser of the two evils. This drama reminds us that even "bad" people may have their own traumas or difficulties.
Umm, why is Dilraba acting in a similar role again?
There aren't actually any similarities, in my opinion, if it follows the book. Not even the revenge part is the same, because Changge's end goal for her revenge is completely different from Di Ziyuan's end goal for revenge. And their relationships with the people they're trying to get revenge on are also completely different. Her relationship with the main male leads are also different, both politically and personally.

Many smart people might also act the same way.
