I like it so far. The story thus far seems cohesive and believable. The characters are both realistic and likeable, and neither of the leads so far seem to be prone to random fits of stupidity for plot advancement. My number one pet peeve is needless, out-of-character stupidity or obviously unrealistic plot devices. I usually fast forward through parts of most dramas, and so far haven't needed to for this one.
If you like Gong Jun or Qiao Xin, it's a definite yes. If you're not a fan but like more mature dramas with thought-provoking subjects, it's also a yes. If you like depictions of healthy, respectful relationships in contrast with dysfunctional relationships, it's a yes. If you like brainless fluff romance (nothing wrong with that), this may not be your drama.
I especially like how even the "villains" of each case are relatable to real life. Just like in real life, sometimes we're left with only bad options, and can only choose what we feel is the lesser of the two evils. This drama reminds us that even "bad" people may have their own traumas or difficulties.
Umm, why is Dilraba acting in a similar role again?
There aren't actually any similarities, in my opinion, if it follows the book. Not even the revenge part is the same, because Changge's end goal for her revenge is completely different from Di Ziyuan's end goal for revenge. And their relationships with the people they're trying to get revenge on are also completely different. Her relationship with the main male leads are also different, both politically and personally.
