kinda love this already. it has a very melancholy tone but Im digging it. I prefer this over the cheesy af kdramas. give me something real anytime over the cringe ageyo shit.

My family and I tuned in every week to watch physical 100 together. It was a great bonding time. Cant wait til they renew the show :)

I also absolutely hate hate hate love triangles. I was especially not a fan of it in the other versions bc fl was never sure about her feelings towards one person. she always kind of wavered. this is does a really good job w it. they resolve it rather quickly and fl figures out her feelings well. the second ml and fl develop a really great friendship that never crosses the line or become confused. second ml is so supportive of fl’s relationship w ml and all of them are just really good friends. I promise you dont have to worry abt the love triangle. I highly recommend it.

personally, I didnt love the other versions. Ive tried japanese, korean and chinese and I always ended up dropping them halfway or earlier. The japanese one was the only one I liked because it was my first one and I really enjoyed the actors but even then, I always had problems with it. this one however, has been an absolute delight. I had actually dropped it on ep 2 bc the story was just too familiar and I didn’t think it would be any different. boy was I wrong and glad of it. the characters are complex and very fleshed out. the plot kept the most important classic bits but didn’t hesitate to discard the problematic aspects. its such a refreshing version and I absolutely love it. the growth and journey is amazing. the characters have great chemistry together. I really love all their friendship. Although the japanese will have a place in my heart bc its was a nostalgic time for me, I think this version takes the cake.

im assuming OS told JB’s split about the incident bc JB doesnt remember what happens when he transforms. JB was just as surprised as us when OS told him it was WS who pushed him off the building. the show definitely has a lot of plot holes and left many things for fans to speculate. this theory just seems most plausible to me.

OS took advantage of JB’s amnesia and gaslight and lied about what happened the night of the accident. he manipulated JB into thinking WS pushed and tried to kill him. JB’s split wanted revenge and did the same thing thus killing WS.

he was always a psycho dickhead, even before JB found blackmail again him. OS was already doing that to multiple ppl to manipulate them. sometimes theres no reason why someone’s a psycho, they just are.

OS said JB’s mom told him about his split personality.

she has quickly become one of my favorite actors. her performance in alchemy of souls is amazing!! I cannot wait to see what she does in the future. also shes 33??? she could honestly pass for a teenager still
