I agree that he’s different from most chaebol MLs (and I honestly really like this fact), but I also recognize that he’s a flat character in the sense that he only expresses interest in the things that sarang enjoys. dude said he likes the food that she likes because couples should share interests or some shit. the income and class disparity he discusses is because sarang made him aware of such things. and his enjoyment of the hotel and desire to work stems from sarang’s passion. idk if he’s really discovering himself if the reasons behind his desires and actions are boiled down to his relationship.

the fucking ad placement actually makes this series better. it’s so unserious. my personal favorite was the Audi “babe, should I put my car in sports mode?” and the cut to the mf car-ipad options menu. dunno if the water brand or sauvage Dior is second
