This is my first ever historical cdrama. There are some things that I am confused by. I would appreciate if someone could help me out!😊 I am confused by the names that the main character's friends and cousins are using. The FL's name is Ming Tan but her cousin calls her A'Tan and it's the same with the ML as his name is Jiang Xu and his friends refer to him as A'Xu. Another confusion that I have is the rank of Ming Tan's father and Bai Min Min's father. Isn't the rank of the duke higher than that of the Marquis? Ming Tan's father is the Marquis and Bai Min Min's father is the Duke so is his rank higher that Ming Tan's father? Because it is not very obvious and the vibe that I get is that Ming Tan's father rank is the higher one.

I think at that point in the story, the characters hadn't developed that emotional connection + I understand her moral dilemma as she has to save her guesthouse and more so her sister so that her ex-fil doesn't end up killing her or smth like that.
is it just me or is the plot moving too fast? I am on episode 6 and I feel like I did not get the time to witness any chemistry b/w anyone because of how the plot is moving
