I took that "he speaks about mixed-sex friendship being a thing" as a hint to convince the viewers that he's in a pure friendship with her considering again this is light romcom with a cheerful tone (?) so I guess nothing will be made so dramatic. Well, I may be wrong, tho. This drama has many cliche elements so a closeted second lead will fit in.
I second that his decision to be a priest is still suspicious and there should be another reason behind it. But I dont think the reason has something to do with her. Even if it does I guess it's not about him loving her and I hope it's not. Because as you say it's a bit extreme to become a priest just for that. There are still a lot to learn tho since we're still on early eps. Let's see if one of us is right or no one is right lol

it ached my heart to know that until the very end, the rating is so low:( i love everything in this drama though, especially the sweet or funny moments of the couple's marriage life; the pure, innocent, and slice of life kind. I even love its slow-paced style. Despite the critics and low rating, still i'm happy when reading the comments here i can see i'm not the only one who love this drama so much. hggg im now blaming those two for making me want to get married soon
