Yeah. Then maybe the king can at least pretend to believe what she is saying about Bong Hwan is true (as he believe about modern days) until at one point he realize that they are 2 different people.
Its just my opinion to try make a better ending when it ended already.
Or include it in secret episode that the king somehow realize the existence of Bong Hwan, so that he can be appreciated and to make sure that the king can still love the queen when she's not him.
If the queen can tell Byung In that he's not So Yong, then he should tell the king as well, and the feeling will be more clear. Or maybe the queen So Yong can tell Cheoljong about Bong Hwan, so at least he knew that he was there with him. It will be hilarious to find out how Cheoljong feels when he finds out he make out with a man actually. But because he already fell for queen since the beginning (but need to suppress because he thought she is enemy), so they can still live happily without us viewer be confused. And it will be better if they were constantly reminded of Bong Hwan because So Yong behavior also change a bit after that. For Bong Hwan, its better if their relationship stop at bromance as I dont really like the idea of BL (sorry!).
Anyhow, still the one of the best storyline, except the ending.

The story line is good, but not my best drama. I tend to skip whenever the mother is involved, except for when I found that it is an important scene because I found her acting feels like it goes by the book. Just like how singer sings emotional song with good vocal and all but the emotion is lacking/being forced out. Or maybe because my expectation is too high where I expect to see myself crying in every episode since I'm usually the emotional type, but not actually. The acting of the sister is so good and she makes me cry.
Just finish watching this drama. I want to comment on their 'tragic' romance. For huiseong, actually I dont feel anything when he is 'rejected' by aesin because till now i feel like he likes her because of her looks. Looking back at the time he was in Japan before coming back to Joseon and knowing that he is engagaged with girl, he still plays with other girl while in Japan. But then when he come back and want to meet his fiance, he suddenly likes her because of how pretty she was at that time. Yes, mybe later it become a true love but anyway it showed that he likes her because of her look which I dont really prefer though. But again, this is only my opinion. For dongmae, I dont really get it why he still get the image of aesin when he is about to die. I thought he somewhat realized that he likes yanghwa. And I actually shipped yanghwa and dong mae because of their storyline. For eugene, nothing to comment because everything is clear to me since it is their main story I guess.
