I finished O&O 2 days ago haha and I'm already on episode 6 in F&E, so there's that^^

they are such different shows haha...
1) Kunning Palace if you want a quicker watch but
2) Yanxi Palace if you want a long ride with a cunning female lead.
I'm on episode 15 in YP, but the story so far has been intricate and interesting. You get to see so many characters and yet you want to see their stories, it's not overwehlming at all.

I have watched 15 episodes so far, and not a single minute is wasted. So good, what a show🥹

i think she was heavily manipulated too. her father took advantage of her emotional state to get her to do things by lying to her. she's extremely flawed and made many nasty decisions and mistakes but esp towards the end her father just used her for the sake of the clan - or so he said. so yes, she was too loyal, but i think she was also taken advantage of

peacock princess is a nasty character but she's also a victim, her father did her so dirty

my issue with yong pil's dad is also that, from what we have seen, it also seems that he left yong pil in his grief all alone. i mean, he didn't just lose his wife but his son also lost his mother. his grief and suffering are valid, but he should not expect his son to have the same resentment.
