9:50pm in Korea, but it might take a while to be released with subtitles. Viki will have the subbed episode tomorrow…
i mean yes, if you understand korean go for it. but if you need subs, viki will have the episode up tomorrow^^ unless you watch it somwhere else that uploads a subbed version today already idk, i watch it on viki though
alright you guyssss, i'm *almost* fully caught up hehe... funny for someone who was a little unsure about the show at first lol. all that scheming is so cool to be honest^^
i'll try to watch ep21-24 today to keep up with everyone😏🫨
the info says it'll be finished by 26th november. could this be trusted?
idk, maybe iQIYI will release an express package for the remaining 5 episodes or so, so it might end a little sooner for those who purchose it. otherwise, it'll end on november 26th i guess^^
I mean the translators have to translate every word and give a nuanced translation. Translating is not easy, especially…
Which drama is it? 🥹 And yes, Netflix (or Disney+) translations tend to simplify the translations, don't really consider (cultural) context and give so-so translations I've heard.... yikes.🖐🏻 (not that I would really know anything, I don't understand Korean lol, but I have seen ppl talk about it) Viki is great because they give additional info for some translations, like explaining idioms since every country/language has their own ways of saying things and unless you have the cultural knowledge, you won't get it!🌟
is it hard to translate this show? It always takes 6+ hours while every other drama gets uploaded with subs right…
I mean the translators have to translate every word and give a nuanced translation. Translating is not easy, especially for a historical drama that is heavy on politics, one wrong word and the context might change. So, being patient is the only way to get a good and accurate translation ^^
it’s not seasons, it’s one whole season that got split in 2. you have to watch pt.1 in order to understand…
the leads don’t get together until the last couple of episodes, the romance is complex so it’s a bit hard lol. the romance is beautiful but it’s a push and pull, it takes a while for them to commit because there’s a lot of obstacles. i recommend to watch it yourself though :)
it’s not seasons, it’s one whole season that got split in 2. you have to watch pt.1 in order to understand pt.2. pt.2 continues right where pt.1 stopped, as you see on viki it’s 21 episodes :)
maybe they send all the scenes that are done to the editing team, so that the episode is edited in parts but idk... the poor actors and staff who run on like 2 hours of sleep to complete the drama well :(
i'll try to watch ep21-24 today to keep up with everyone😏🫨
