I think he was just trying to sort of approach the man in a relatable way to take off some of the tension. unconvential and certainly not what a real firefighter would do, but for the show it was kinda goofy😭💀 i mean otherwise he always does things in a rational way

sweet slow burn in the beginning but once they get together it's reaaaally nice, they're not afraid to be intimate with each other and give each other emotional and moral support. very healthy and solid relationship so far. both respected each other from the beginning, so no enemies. i'd say it's strangers to slowly building a mentor relationship (due to the variety show) to lovers sort of relationship :)

we haven't seen him in action, so i'd really like to see him perform lol, would he be any better since he knows the theory so much better than them... i don't think he's a bad person (just infuriating lol) or a bad firefighter, and i know he doesn't have to be besties with them, but he lacks basic respect for their abilities as capable firefighters who have been doing their job for 10+ years. like they wouldn't be here if they actually sucked at their job. i don't agree with his method although i understand where he is coming from
