Title Moving Spoiler
Honestly I think he was testing them by giving her this mission. During her first mission Mi Hyun let spies go…
yes! as annoying as the director is (to me, he is a villain lmao), without him we would not have doo shik and mi hyun, that's the only good thing he has given us so far. I'm excited to continue to see what happens next although i don't think doo shik's story will be revelead anytime soon, but i'm thrilled to know what happened after he was arrested. i also quite like the parallel between mi hyun and bong seok walking on the bridge and joo won passing by in his truck!

you guys i feel like an idiot and need help. mi hyun's mission was to get close to doo shik and find out his secret. what exactly was that secret??? because it can't be that his ability is flying since min yong joon followed joo won as he was fighting the gangsters (ep.11). like that old man could see that joo won has some ability.

Title The Uncanny Counter Spoiler
i'm on episode 10 and super annoyed
i don't like wi gen, i found her weird from the beginning, but now they use all the instances in which so mun defended himself or his friends against him, accusing him that he used his powers for bad things and that he's just as bad as an evil spirit (you know at least he beats up bullies and tries to kill an evil spirit on a murder spree and not innocent ppl). was he supposed to let his friends be killed at worst? was he supposed to wait for the gang to arrive?? by that time Shin would have either killed him or escaped. oh wait, they also make it HIS problem that the evil spirits escape all the time. what is it? should he fight them or not. this old woman invaded HIS body and made him a counter and now the're surprised an 18yo teen who just found out his parents were actually MURDERED can't control his feelings. I also can't stand Mo Tak's partner. 10 minutes into ep.10 and i wanna close the tab i'm so pissed😭

Title My Dearest
I'm here because I want to curse gil chae the female lead the snobbish, selfish, self center and the one who thinks…
so you don't think that her heart is broken enough after taking care of her family who was about to die, seeing her father being completely out of his mind due to trauma, etc. just because she didn't go with jang hyun, doesn't mean she wasn't heartbroken. she had to give up something, and in that moment it wasn't going to be her family. Is it sad that she left the male lead? yes. Was her letter cruel? Yes. I read somewhere else that she wrote it like this on purpose so that he wouldn't come back for her and tempt her to come with him again. I kinda agree with this. She does love him, but this is Joseon, and not Seoul. She HAD to pick her family because the time period demanded it. She was practically married tot his loser guy (i hate him) and the consequences of running away would have been terrible for her family as well (tainted by association). I'm tired of ppl disregarding everything she has done for herself, her friends and her family just because STILL believe she is a spoiled bitch. She is not. She is a young woman in a cruel world, who survived a war mostly on her own merits, who has to take care of her loved ones because no one else would. Eun Ae and Yeon Jun are completely useless in the matter. Gil Chae is responsible and resilient. Stop discrediting her just because she didn't chosse dick.

alrighty, i watched episode 9 (and bawled obviously) and i still have the same opinion as before: how can anyone…
Alright, i finished part 1 two hours ago, updated my review and still stand by what i said above. however cruel and heartbreaking it is, i understand gil chae’a decision (i say this with tears in my eyes, my poor babies). anyway, fuck that military dude, i feel like he took advantage of gil chae’s situation. Also fuck the singer for lying, that was terrible to both leads! there was something else i wanted to say but my peanut brain forgot it lmao

Title My Dearest
alrighty, i watched episode 9 (and bawled obviously) and i still have the same opinion as before: how can anyone dislike gil chae when she literally took matters in her own hands, did physical labor and basically became a merchant to save her family from starving to death. she yet again proved her resilience and how resourceful she is, how smart she is and how strong she is and people still don't like her? not once was she bratty in this episode because she was busy running her business. eun ae didn't lift a finger, gil chae did all the work and continues to do all the work. some are mad that she seemingly marries another man but how can you blame her? her father is mentally ill from the war trauma, she has literal children to feed, a friend with a useless husband, her little sister, the maids (one of which has a husband) AND herself (and her new "employees"), so ofc love would be the one thing she CAN afford to let go. She can't love if she's dead. I respect gil chae so much for her strength and even if her decisions are "bad" in the sense that our otp isn't official YET, it's these important decisions that emphasize her amazing character and its development and i will die on that hill. you ppl need to see a little beyond the romance and understand the time period we're in.

i have not seen the episode yet, but i'm reading the spoilery comments nonetheless and honestly if the genders…
i'm only "defending" her because they choose to read her character wrong BECAUSE of the misogyny haha. i know she is only fictional but it is frustrating to read any type of hate, be it misogynistic or not, when the character is not at all how they describe it. People always want to see female characters be more, and when they get one, they hate on it or find something to dislike and that's just plain annoying lmao. buuuut *I* just have a temper and no patience so i got defensive haha whoops

Title My Dearest
i have not seen the episode yet, but i'm reading the spoilery comments nonetheless and honestly if the genders…
i mean honestly, gil chae is allowed to be her silly, spoiled self again after the war is over. she doesn't have to fear nor fight for her life anymore, so please let her be that innocent girl again that she was before she was running away with her friends and maids. episode 8 also highlighted how aware she is that times have changed as she walks the same path from the flower picking ceremony at the lake (or whatever it was called haha), she isn't dumb, she's just a young woman who tried to survive and did. And yes, jang hyun is a cocky troublemaker but he's still 10x the man yeon jun could ever be, because one of them joined the war so his woman wouldn't cry and spoiler... it wasn't yeon jun lmao. both gc and jh have not so great qualities/imperfections but also amazing personalities and ppl choose to be ignorant to spread unnecessary hate for some likes. anyway i'm watching on viki so imma treat myself to episode 9 tmw and i can't waiiiit :))
